Conservative ‘Family Values’ Lunatic Todd Kincannon Has Law License Suspended After Meltdown (IMAGES)

Todd Kincannon’s fall has been glorious and complete.

Todd Kincannon was committed to a Columbia mental health facility earlier this week after suffering some sort of a meltdown. The South Carolina Supreme Court also suspended Kincannon’s law license and moved all his cases over to the law offices of Peyre Thomas Lumpkin, Esquire.

Here are the two graphic pictures Kincannon posted, which prompted action by the court:

You may or may not be familiar with Kincannon, but he’s been threatening suicide for a while.

He hasn’t worked for the GOP for a few years, but he used to be the Executive Director of the South Carolina Republican Party. He’s also a lawyer in South Carolina as well as a “political activist,” though much of his activism was on Twitter where he made a name for himself as one of the most vile, insensitive, bigoted racist a**hats the internet had ever met. He earned himself a lifetime ban from Twitter after his tweets enraged the general public.

Then the outspoken Conservative troll went relatively quiet, only to re-emerge trying to crowdfund his first book Useless Idiots: The Proper Care and Feeding of Liberals, in 2014. A few donations came in, but the book doesn’t appear to have ever been published.

Then crickets. Kincannon went quiet until March of 2015, when the Conservative known for vilifying others for their lack of Christian morality, family values or liberal views was suddenly arrested for domestic violence and possible kidnapping charges against his wife.

Apparently, he had been terrorizing his wife, Ashley, for months because she was considering filing for divorce. He had threatened to kill himself, which was revealed in a secret recording made by Ashley. The tension between the two erupted after a political event they had attended together when Todd and Ashley were driving home, and Todd started speeding and driving erratically, telling his wife he would kill her if she ever tried to leave him. His wife tried to get the attention of passing motorists to call 9-1-1 for her.

Kincannon was caught and arrested at the bigot watering hole, Chick-fil-A. His wife has filed for divorce.

I’m not a doctor, but this guy may benefit from some Liberalism; Conservatism hasn’t really worked out too well for him.

Now, I’m not going to say liberals are perfect; of course we’re just as flawed, but all these outspoken Conservative trolls are dropping under their own weight. Josh Duggar, a loud activist for family values and traditional marriage, just crumbled under his own weight after it was revealed the uber-Christian was cheating on his wife and mother of his four children. Kincannon is holding a gun to his head because he can’t live up to his own standards? Something smells rotten in the right-wing, and it isn’t just Trump’s platform.

Sad state of affairs for this young man, Life gets tough but we need to carry on. God never gives us more than we can handle if we turn to him for help. guidance and forgiveness. we carry around the problems of the world and of our own lives like luggage , sometimes we need to let go and let god. pray , keep the faith. this is in some ways a test. how anyone comes out of horror in our lives will always be determined by our faith. I will pray for this man to recapture his faith, to turn to god , to let go of all the worldly things he is concerned with and to concentrate on his relationship with the father. we all have a purpose in this life. its time for this man to find out what his is . money, pride, hatred, jealousy , envy, and fear are just emotions that bring us down. until we let go of the idea we have of how our lives should be we will never know the real purpose for our lives. miracles are everywhere we just need to know how to attain them. GOD bless you sir. keep the faith and know you are loved.

hate to tell you… but you don’t fix people like this. Never seen it happen… not with 50 miracles. A year ago, he’d probably have given the same response as you just gave. Delusional.

It’s always so easy for people to say “let go and let god” when you have a full belly and a roof over your head. I’d like to put you in Ethiopia for a month with nothing but a loin cloth and no shoes and hang with the starving people for a while. Lets see how far your faith gets you then. You’ll probably be stealing food from the little starving kids!

I am progressive as they come. And while I enjoy seeing right-wing hypocrisy exposed, it’s pretty cruel to call this troubled period of his life “glorious.” He’s suicidal and depressed. He’s finally getting the help he needed. The world is full of suicidal people. Not long ago, myself included. Let’s not discourage any of them from getting the same kind of help.

Sorry guys, this snark is uncalled for. Kinkannon may hold despicable views but those pictures clearly show he is clinically insane and in serious need of help. A little compassion is in order. Perhaps the RWNJs would mock a progressive who has fallen into such a slough of despond, but that doesn’t mean that those of us on the left should imitated them. Jenna LeFever, you should be ashamed of yourself.

There’s no such thing. ‘Insane’ is a word never used by doctors, unless they’re discussing politics or sports. Insanity is a legal term for a criminal defense. If you’re going to talk about mental illness or neuro/psychiatric conditions, please use the proper terms. It’s insulting when people can’t be bothered.

These Christian lunatics have always walked amongst us, but before we allowed them to gain power through their megachurches and advocacy groups, before they were encouraged to insinuate themselves into minor elective office and political parties, nobody noticed them. We can thank the Nixon Southern Strategy for what we have today: A frightfully expensive, obstructive and ineffective government that fights the real will of the people at every turn.
