On Wednesday, Donald Trump is traveling to Mexico to meet with President Enrique Peña Nieto to prove that he is “presidential.” Unfortunately for The Donald, Hillary Clinton has decided that she is going to troll him with every nasty thing he has ever said about Mexico and its people.
This morning on Twitter the Clinton Campaign released a “big beautiful list” of everything Trump has said about Mexico and its people over the last two years. The Democratic nominee stated:
Donald Trump is headed to Mexico to meet with the country’s president, Enrique Peña Nieto. If you’re surprised by that news—well, you’re not alone.
After all, Trump announced his campaign for president by calling Mexican immigrants “rapists” and criminals (“and some, I assume, are good people,” he added generously). Trump has been publicly disparaging Mexican immigrants—and the entire nation of Mexico—for years. And years. And years.
It is hard to imagine why the president of Mexico would invite Trump to his country when he has said things like this:
We have got to get our Marine out of that disgusting Mexican jail. Would be so easy if we had a real leader. One tough phone call & he's out
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 28, 2014
Every day Mexico continues to hold Sgt. Tahmooressi is an insult to our country.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 16, 2014
If you recall, retired Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi was arrested and jailed in Mexico after he crossed the border with loaded firearms. At the time of his arrest, the Mexican government was desperately trying to stem the flow of guns being smuggled from the U.S. into their country because they were being used in the deadly cartel war. Trump, who has spent his entire campaign screeching about our Souther neighbor sending “drugs” into our country had no problem with one of our citizens bringing guns into their country two years ago.
The list continues with more of Trump’s stupid ramblings:
The fight against ISIS starts at our border. ‘At least’ 10 ISIS have been caught crossing the Mexico border. Build a wall!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 8, 2014
Long before he was telling us that Mexico was sending “rapists,” he claimed that Mexico was sending ISIS. This was not and is not true. There have not been any verified reports of Islamic State terrorists infiltrating the U.S. from the Mexican/American border.
The Oscars were a great night for Mexico & why not—they are ripping off the US more than almost any other nation.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 24, 2015
Um…what? Mexicans are apparently not even allowed to enjoy The Oscars.
I have a lawsuit in Mexico’s corrupt court system that I won but so far can’t collect. Don’t do business with Mexico!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 24, 2015
The Mexican legal system is corrupt, as is much of Mexico. Pay me the money that is owed me now - and stop sending criminals over our border
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 25, 2015
Trump was pissed that a businessman was appealing the ruling. You know? The same way Trump and his attornies have stalled his many lawsuits in America. Shortly after these lawsuit tweets, Trump tweeted about the wall he wants to build on the border for the first time:
Mexico's court system corrupt.I want nothing to do with Mexico other than to build an impenetrable WALL and stop them from ripping off U.S.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 6, 2015
After that tweet, the Great Wall of ‘Murica became a favorite topic for the GOP nominee:
The border is wide open for cartels & terrorists. Secure our border now. Build a massive wall & deduct the costs from Mexican foreign aid!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 30, 2015
Our border is being breached daily by criminals. We must build a wall & deduct costs from Mexican foreign aid! http://t.co/jEgR6jSQ5J
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 16, 2015
ISIS is operating a training camp 8 miles outside our Southern border http://t.co/P8arBncO0A We need a wall. Deduct costs from Mexico!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 17, 2015
My @TheBrodyFile int. from Iowa on how I would build a wall to secure our Southern Border & deduct costs from Mexico http://t.co/G0m5cYcCgk
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 20, 2015
After announcing his run for the White House, he amped up his attacks on Mexico:
Only very stupid people think that the United States is making good trade deals with Mexico.Mexico is killing us at the border and at trade!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 27, 2015
We MUST have strong borders and stop illegal immigration. Without that we do not have a country. Also, Mexico is killing U.S. on trade. WIN!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 30, 2015
Mexico's biggest drug lord escapes from jail. Unbelievable corruption and USA is paying the price. I told you so!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 12, 2015
Mexico’s totally corrupt gov’t looks horrible with El Chapo’s escape—totally corrupt. U.S. paid them $3 billion.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 13, 2015
His anti-Mexico rants continue on like that for a year and then he proudly announces that he will be visiting Mexico-the country he hates-on Wednesday. Posting a list of all of Trump’s disparaging tweets about Mexico was a brilliant move by the Clinton Campaign.
Troll level: expert.
Keep an eye on Hillary’s Twitter account today, it’s sure to be filled with goodies.
