Trump’s ‘Flavor Of The Week’ Campaign Manager Used Rape As Proof That Women Are The Weaker Sex

It’s difficult to keep up with Trump’s campaign managers. Managing a train wreck of a campaign is hard work, which means we can expect at least a few more firings and hirings by the time we make it to November.

The newest Trumpette is Kellyanne Conway who seems to hold the same asinine views as anyone else for which Trump surrounds himself. In 2013, Kellyanne Conway appeared on the PBS show To The Contrary to speak about women in the military, specifically, women in combat positions. In response, she threw in a completely unsubstantiated example of women’s weakness. She holds some very strong Trumpian values. She said:

“If we were physiologically — not mentally, emotionally, professionally equal to men. If we were physiologically as strong as men, rape would not exist. You would be able to defend yourself.”

It’s no wonder Trump picked her as his newest minion. It wasn’t that long ago when Eric Trump did some classic victim blaming when he said strong women don’t ALLOW themselves to be sexually harassed. So ladies, if you find yourself raped or sexually harassed, just know that it’s because you are simply not as strong as your perpetrator.

Conway’s statements are inflammatory. This idea that rape victims are somehow just not “strong” only plays into the victim blaming mentality. It also completely neglects the fact that nearly 10 percent of rape victims are MEN! Where they just weaker men? Well, apparently so if we follow Kellyanne Conway’s line of thinking – no wonder she was selected as his flavor of the week.

So, let’s just set the record straight. Women aren’t raped because they are weak. Men aren’t raped because they are weak. Rape has nothing to do with what a person wears, how physically strong they are or if they flirt or are promiscuous. Victims of rape are not responsible for the assault. The ONLY person responsible for that crime is. . . wait for it. . .

The RAPIST!
