On Saturday, thousands of families were subjected to horrific pictures of mutilated babies as they entered a children’s pumpkin festival in Manatee County, Florida.
The Hunsader Farms Annual Pumpkin Festival has been a family event for 24 years in my county. Every year thousands of families flock to the farm and participate in games, pet animals and eat pumpkin flavored ice cream; but this year children will go to bed and have nightmares because a vapid anti-choicer decided that kids should be shown graphic anti-abortion pictures.
Mario, one of my good friends, posted a picture to Instagram showing what was awaiting him and his 4-year old daughter at the entrance of the event this year — and he is rightfully livid:
We have blurred the pictures, because even an adult should be spared from seeing that.
What the f*ck is wrong with these people?
First of all, Mario is right. No matter where you stand on the abortion issue, this is fanatical insanity. No child should be subjected to this kind of garbage EVER.
As you can see, the police showed up to speak to the woman who displayed the vile pictures, but Mario said he does not know if she was forced to leave because he wanted to get his daughter away from the images as quickly as possible.
This is another example of how far anti-choice extremists will go to promote their agenda. The pictures on those boards aren’t the pictures of an average abortion. Instead, it is more likely that they are photos of a late-term, medically necessary abortion. You know, the ones that have to happen or the mother might die? Or the ones that happen when the fetus has a severe birth defect?
So actually, YES! This is healthcare! These later-term MEDICALLY NECESSARY abortions only account for 0.2 percent of abortions. Maybe this imbecile would prefer the women who have to have these procedures should continue a pregnancy that will kill them. Or give birth to a child who will live its entire life in pain.
Because that’s totally what Jesus would want.
People like this are woman are what is wrong with this country. She just made every child who went into that festival collateral damage in a political disagreement between adults, which is disgusting.
