Trump had a bizarre Twitter meltdown last night in which the future president began retweeting random followers who were praising him - including a guy named “Dr Good Spine.” Adding to the unhinged nature of the retweets was the fact that at one point he, or his follower “Dr Good Spine,” tagged the wrong Ivanka.
"@drgoodspine: @realDonaldTrump @Ivanka Trump is great, a woman with real character and class."
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 17, 2017
His daughter’s Twitter account is “@IvankaTrump” - this is just some random person. A person who now had to deal with a deluge of deplorables flooding into her mentions because of Trump’s mistake.
But rather than get upset, “@Ivanka” took the opportunity to do some good. While she had the future president’s attention, Ivanka Majic, a council worker from England, decided to respond with a pointed message about climate change. Trump has signaled that his administration will be hostile to clean energy and his EPA nominee believes climate change is fake. So Majic decided to give him a little lesson in what’s really important:
@realDonaldTrump @drgoodspine And you're a man with great responsibilities. May I suggest more care on Twitter and more time learning about #climatechange. pic.twitter.com/kBMEGZYtig
— Ivanka Majic (@ivanka) January 17, 2017
A man who can’t even tag the right Ivanka on Twitter may want to leave the battle against climate change up to the experts.
Needless to say, Trump did not retweet Ivanka Majic’s message. It was over his head.
