The Donald Trump for President campaign has long been dogged by its attractiveness to white nationalists, anti-Semites, overt racists, and other assorted bigots - with good reason. He’s been endorsed by several high ranking KKK members, a number of neo-Nazi groups, and has staffers from the white supremacist website Breitbart working on his campaign.
Well, Donald Trump Jr. just brought that problem into the light again in a radio interview in which he used a reference to Nazi Germany in order to attack Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and the media’s treatment of her. Trump Jr. said:
“The media has been her No. 1 surrogate in this. Without the media, this wouldn’t even be a contest, but the media has built her up.
They’ve let her slide on every discrepancy, on every lie, on every [Democratic National Committee] game trying to get [Sen.] Bernie Sanders [I-Vt.] out of this thing. If Republicans were doing that, they’d be warming up the gas chamber right now.“
Here is audio of the exchange:

Trump Jr. appears to be taking after his father.
But this one is gonna hurt, because the Anti-Defamation League, an organization meant to stop the spread of anti-Semitism, is slamming Trump Jr for the remarks. They unleashed a flurry of well-deserved criticism via Twitter, and are demanding a retraction:
.@DonaldJTrumpJr: We hope you understand the sensitivity and hurt of making Holocaust jokes. We hope you retract.https://t.co/jL2ZC9Z8pH
— ADL (@ADL_National) September 15, 2016
.@DonaldJTrumpJr: Trivialization of the Holocaust and gas chambers is NEVER okay. https://t.co/jL2ZC9Z8pH
— ADL (@ADL_National) September 15, 2016
Of course, the ADL was immediately attacked by bigoted Trump supporters after these tweets - and one even called the Holocaust a lie:
@ADL_National holocaust was a lie, you guys have covered up the truth for long enough

@ADL_National @LizMair @DonaldJTrumpJr @PolicyMic @CahnEmily Too many too easily get feelings hurt. Let it go.

@ADL_National @LizMair @DonaldJTrumpJr doesn't the US still use gas chambers? Not necessarily a reference to Jews.
— Michael Aubele (@michaelaubele) September 15, 2016
@ADL_National @LizMair @DonaldJTrumpJr @PolicyMic @CahnEmily
So now gas chamber is off limits.

.@ADL_National quit being a bunch of crybabies @DonaldJTrumpJr
— The Reactionary Tree (@ReactionaryTree) September 15, 2016
@ADL_National @DonaldJTrumpJr He wasn't trivializing, he was saying that #DemocratsAreNazis you should disavow the whole anti-Israel party
— Charismantaloupe (@CharismaLope) September 15, 2016
@ADL_National @DonaldJTrumpJr Where is the reference to Jews or the Holocaust? Seriously, crying wolf all the time helps no one.

And there you have it, folks. Straight from Donald Trump Jr’s mouth, and from those of his supporters. The tweets and hate will likely continue to roll in. This is just another example of how right Hillary Clinton was - Trump supporters prove, time and and again, that they are deplorable, as are Trump’s family and all associated with his campaign.
