Recently we brought you the story of how Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s infamous 2005 video in which he bragged about sexually assaulting women, inspired actress Amber Tamblyn to come forward with her own story, via social media, about a very similar sexual assault at the hands of an ex-boyfriend.
In the 2005 video, Trump boasts about how, as a “star,” he was entitled to grab women’s vaginas and kiss the women as he pleased.
“‘You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait,’ he boasts.
‘And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the p—y. You can do anything.’”
Tamblyn decided to come forward and share her painful story.
“’I need to tell you a story. With the love and support of my husband, I’ve decided I need to share it publicly,’ she began in a lengthy Instagram caption alongside a photo of the GOP nominee planting a kiss on Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia Culpo.”
In Tamblyn’s story, she details how an ex-boyfriend once tracked her down in a nightclub and tried to carry her out by her hair and her groin (she was wearing a skirt). She wrote on Instagram:
“The minute he saw me, he picked me up with one hand by my hair and with his other hand, he grabbed me under my skirt by my vagina— my pussy?— and lifted me up off the floor, literally, and carried me, like something he owned, like a piece of trash, out of the club. His fingers were practically inside of me, his other hand wrapped tightly around my hair. I screamed and kicked and cried.”
It appears that Tamblyn has managed to find a brilliant way to turn the trauma induced by Trump’s vile words into the ultimate revenge by using the power of music and comedy. An MTV producer explains how Tamblyn came up with the idea while booked to battle her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star America Ferrera on Lip Sync Battle.
“’It just happens to be the election and Amber just happened to have this great take on it – her first song being centered around Hillary and her second song being centered around Trump,’ executive producer Casey Patterson tells PEOPLE. ‘That was 100 percent Amber’s choice. She had it all in her head. That performance came to us fully baked. She pitched it to us top to bottom.’”
Tamblyn performed to the song “I Wanna Sex You Up” by Color Me Badd. In her performance, she dressed up as the GOP nominee and gave her co-star a little “bump and grind” treatment while she lip synced. The look on Ferrera’s face was priceless as the fake Trump showed her how he planned to make “America great again.”
Here’s the video preview of the upcoming Lip Sync Battle featuring Amber Tamblyn as Donald Trump.
There is no word yet from Trump or his campaign on this latest “left-wing media” assault on his “good” name. But stay tuned.
