Republican Presidential Candidate Tweets That Americans Should LITERALLY Kill All Muslims

The reaction to the shooting in San Bernadino is sadly predictable, but it differs in one way: Instead of Americans pretending to care for several days before we forget, like we usually do, we now get to deal with the contingent of lunatic genocidal GOP brownshirts.

These two-faced, venal brownshorts are demanding action after the shooting but did everything possible to stymie action after the senseless murder of 20 elementary school children and the school staff.

And among them is 2016 GOP candidate George Pataki, who issued his own fatwah on Twitter: All Radical Muslims must die. Who defines “radical”? Well, if recent days have been any indication, the right-wing seems to think any Muslim is radical.

“I’m declaring we kill them”

Anti-Muslim tendencies run high in the United States; between calls for registering all Muslims in a database and forcing them to wear patches to identify themselves, one could be forgiven for mistaking us for Weimar Germany in the 1930s.

Since it’s a slippery slope, it was only a matter time before someone made the last leap and called for genocide:

Pataki Tweet 1

Pataki’s reason for including Loretta Lynch is because Lynch found herself on the receiving end of right-wing hate when she called for people to maintain a level head, something the right-wing is physiologically incapable of doing:

I think it’s important, however, that as we again talk about the importance of free speech we make it clear that actions predicated on violent talk are not America they are not who were they are not what we do and they will be prosecuted, so I want that message to be clear also.

It got through clear, Pataki is just extraordinarily dense and spewing nonsense so that he can win votes from people who didn’t even realizing he was running.

Yes, yes, right wingers will dodge and say “but we’re only talking about radical Islam,” but who gets the privilege of defining “radical”? Is it killing American citizens? Last I checked, Robert Dear was a “radical” Christian who killed Americans. Where are the people claiming that we need to kill all radical Christians — all reconstructionists, dominionists, and other theocratic radicals who hate America?

You won’t find them, and that’s because it’s easier to target Muslims, as they’re a smaller percentage of the population. It’s a bullying tactic, because that’s all the right-wing is now.

So when do we apply this theory to Christianity? You know, the religion that’s actually being used to harm this country.

    • Stumpy

Please explain how Christianity is being used to harm this country.

      • Baby_Raptor

Are you joking? Tell me you’re joking.

        • Stumpy

Just as I thought, you don’t have a clue.

          • Baby_Raptor

No, I was giving you a chance to admit to not putting a sarcasm tag or something.

Look at politics lately. “LGBT people can’t have rights; god doesn’t like them. In fact, god thinks they should die!” “Females can’t have birth control or bodily autonomy; god thinks life starts a conception and only he gets to decide when anyone reproduces.” “We need to be teaching our kids about Jesus in public schools and putting Christianity in our courts.” “Only Christians are fit to be leaders.” “Ignore all that stuff Jesus said about taking care of one’s neighbors; only take Christian refugees!” “Kids don’t need actual fact; just teach them the bible.”

Meanwhile the Constitution sits around thinking “I gave EVERYONE freedom of religion. Don’t you idiots get that?”

          • DOCS

Those aren’t actual Christians. You’re talking about trailer dwelling rednecks…

          • Baby_Raptor

Funny, your god doesn’t seem to have any issues with them. He has a long history of punishing people who do stuff he doesn’t like so why is he not punishing these people? Especially since they’re doing this stuff in his name.

          • Lydia

And the Muslim extremists aren’t actual Muslims, but that doesn’t stop our society from lumping them all together into one homogeneous mass as though 1.7 BILLION people can all have exactly the same thoughts and ambitions.

          • DOCS

If they yell, “Allah akbar!” when they kill people, they’re musilms. I’ve never heard about a right wing gun nut lunatic yelling, “Praise GAWD!” when they gun down innocent people.

          • Lydia

They are as much Muslim as the Christian extremists who kill in the name of their faith. Yelling something isn’t part of the definition of “religious radical”.

          • DOCS

You better explain this in detail Lydia because you’re making no sense.

          • Dennis Cox-Townsend

Well, at least you sort of admit that right wing gun nut lunatics (many of whom consider themselves devout Christians) sometimes gun down innocent people.

          • DOCS

Besides the “peaceful” muslims don’t do a very good job of policing their own. Israel, USA, UK and now France are the only countries who put a lot of effort into stopping islamic terror.

          • Jackye

and we as a country aren’t any better at policing our own, but we as a nation believe that we are above the rest and not responsible.

          • Lydia

Yes, and we do such a good job policing our own here in the USA… What was the count up to at the time of the SB shooting? 355 mass shootings so far this year alone, and one just a few days before by a Christian, no less!

If it applies to Muslims, it applies to Christians too, so be careful about casting stones.

          • Kathy McKinny

actually the RADICAL muslims are the ONLY ones following their holy book. The “peaceful” ones CHEER when the radicals do their dirty work for them. There are vids on Youtube that PROVE muslims ALL OVER THE WORLD celebrated on 9/11

          • Dennis Cox-Townsend

Ah, so you’re a Trump supporter, the candidate who makes things up and when confronted with his untruths simply shrugs them off. Facts don’t matter any more to the GOP candidates than the constitution they revere and constantly ignore.

          • Jinmichigan

            You mean the republican party.

          • DOCS

            You got it!

      • Jason Roder

Every lynching, every cross-burning, every gay-bashing, every gynecologist’s office shot up. Every single one of these incidents can be laid at the feet of Christian fundamentalists.

      • William Waugh

        Turn off Fox.

        • Stumpy

Which biased news network should I turn on?

          • Lydia

How about instead of relying on one news network, you turn on several? I’m fond of the BBC, NPR, and ABC especially, and I also visit MSN’s news page which is a hub for numerous news sources…

But pretty much anything would be better than Fox, in all honesty.

  • freespeechalways

If these looney toons wantbto register all Muslims maybe those liberals should all go in and register as Muslim, boost the numbers and scare the crap out of the haters. As your physical features do not denote your religion, let the GOP.try to figure out who is telling the truth about their affiliations and who’s lying.

    • Lydia

I’m neither liberal nor Muslim, and I would totally go for that plan.

  • steve j

I don’t believe a radicalized Muslim can ever be rehabilitated as it is a result of a belief system deeply rooted in religion and should therefore either face the death penalty or prison without the possibility of parole . Once released they would be free to carry out their killing spree so they can get their virgins (yikes who in their right mind would even want that many virgins anyway , even one is more than I can ever bear again) . Take note I said radicalized not all Muslims !

    • kenthefitter

The same goes for Christians, too, right?

      • steve j

        yup

        • kenthefitter

          Good, good, good.
We can start right away with the GOTP presidential candidates. Many of whom have publicly stated that homosexuals and all subscribers of Islam should be killed, because their religion (Christianity ) calls for that.
It will certainly be a much greater body count of Christians than Muslims as the number of homicidal Christians is much greater.

    • Imran Khan

Faux News disagrees with you. They still take the word of Walid Shoebat (a “former terrorist” turned American conservative blogger) and once brought another former Palestinian terrorist turned zionist on their show too.

      • steve j

uh huh , till the day he thinks it’s about time to see allah then it’s time to get in his gods good graces by killing the infidels , and the same applies to anyone who feels they need to kill to appease their god be it jew , christian or any other religion you can think of , they should be sent on ahead to meet their maker or rot in prison for the rest of their lives !

    • NicoleminCT

Let’s see you say this about Christians and Jews as well!

      • NicoleminCT

Now tell everyone again how Muslims are the root of the issue?

    • King Of Bob

I’m sorry, you’re suggesting we put people to death because of their religion? Interesting.

      • steve j

is your reading comprehension that poor ? what are you in third grade or something ? Let me lead you by the hand here , If they murder people in the name of their god that is the reason they should either be put to death or imprisoned for the rest of their lives . Do you want one of them living next door to your family at any point after they commit such an act ? Being a radicalized (place any religion here) means they have already at the very least attempted a grievous act (mass murder) or provided aid to a grievous act (makes them just as guilty in this country) . In case you’re not up on the laws in the US just thinking about something isn’t considered illegal , you have to actually plan (conspiracy) or carry out an illegal act before you are labeled a terrorist . That is what we are discussing , now go back and watch Titan AE some more .

  • Ryan Wood

Christianity and Islam are basically the same thing.

    • NicoleminCT

Almost but not quite. You forgot to mention Judaism in there. Let’s not pretend Torah law is all peaches and cream.

    • Kathy McKinny

HOW WRONG YOU ARE. Islam TRIES to tell you that allah is the same God as the GOD of the Bible. NOTHING could be further from the truth. allah is satan. If they were basically the same, then WHY do muslims want to KILL every other religion. Christians DON’T DO THAT.

      • NicoleminCT

That awkward moment when an ignorant person vilifies another people under false pretenses. Look at the list of the countries invaded and the people murdered. You haven’t a leg to stand on when it comes to historical accuracy. YAWN

Are you going to admit God is a liar since there were no weapons of WMD are you just going to acknowledge that your Christian leader lied in the name of God which you ate up like candy foaming at the mouth?

      • Dennis Cox-Townsend

Kathy, few Christians will openly admit that, but given free reign they would happily eliminate all other religions, even other Christians who don’t completely agree with all the details of their specific interpretation of the faith. Keep believing your narrow perspective if it makes you feel better, though.

  • Alethinos95

AND THE BALKANIZATION OF AMERICA is nearly complete now…

SOON they will be calling for your death… Because you’re too liberal, too ‘accepting’ too ‘other’….

Because your eyes are not BLUE enough…

It starts like this - when a supposed ‘respectable’ public figure begins to say something like this.

  • richardblankenburg

When I hear the Governor of a State and Presidential candidate saying things like, “America should kill all Muslims”, it incites anger in me, and I consider Pataki an enemy of humanity as well as an enemy of America, he is an enemy to be hunted down and removed from society. I am an American, with Muslim friends, Muslim relatives, I served in the U.S. military with Muslim comrades in arms, and I resent any American who threatens to kill them. There are laws against threatening death to another person; those laws need to be enforced. America has gone insane, and become extremist ‘Christians’ who threaten democracy and anyone who disagrees with their religious belief. These are fascists and this is America.

    • dilusha bandara

What made you pissed off richard?

  • NicoleminCT

This is a direct violation of international law ‘incitement to commit genocide act’. Interesting how many wars Americans have gone into proclaiming to be the world police, murdering and justifying these actions because other countries do not follow international bias laws but this just tops the cake. When Rabbi Shalom Lewis delivered a genocidal sermon calling for the genocide of ALL Muslims even innocent ones, yet failed to be prosecuted, it solidified the world wide sentiment that America and Americans are full of sh** when it comes to morals.

Nazis were evil and Americans boasted about how morally righteous American soldiers were to fight against genocide but turn around to become Nazis. I am just so disgusted by murders regardless of religious or non theist believes. No better than animals.

  • phisch99

Disgusting as Pataki’s words are, to be fair, he was suggesting that we kill radical Islamists, not “all Muslims” as the headline indicated, though I doubt the anti-Islamic gun nuts would make the distinction. This is very dangerous talk for a politician to engage in.

    • King Of Bob

As has been pointed out, what exactly defines radical Islam?

  • NicoleminCT

You’re right, it’s a direct violation of international law. “Incitement to commit genocide”.

  • Joe Langella

Of couse staying with your false narrative that your so good with you not considering the fact Loretta Lynch should be impeached for suggesting our 1st amendment rights be violated by saying we should be arrested for saying what we think.
And of course that’s just right wing rhetoric right?
I’m not a fan of this guy’s politics but what he said was to challange what lynch is trying to to in her censorship comments she make.and I’m glad he did.
I would love for her to try prosecuting someone for this and made a fool of when the courts laugh her right out of court.

    • Lydia

Inciting violence against your fellow citizens has always been a crime. Freedom of speech is intended to protect your right to speak out against the government without facing prosecution. It is not the freedom to encourage or tell people they should harm or kill others.

    • King Of Bob

Hate speech is not protected under freedom of speech, idiot.

  • Corey

This is an obvious example of creating a clear and present danger through hate speech. If they /don’t/ arrest him, other politicians and pundits will be emboldened to say that same, hoping to profit from the sentiment before it becomes commonplace with their peers. And then it /will/ precipitate in real violence. Call his bluff. Arrest him.

  • Pamela Berube

He clearly said “Radical” Islam.. Thamiel Rosenkreuz, you are a very dishonest journalist, and I use the term journalist loosely!

    • Madge

Who decides who is radical and who is not? That is the question here. If it were up to some in the GOP, ALL Muslims would be killed just because they are Muslim. Trump wants to register and track all Muslims because he is afraid of them - thinks they’re out to get him. Jeb only wants Christian refugees because apparently he thinks they, unlike Muslim refugees, are the only ones we can trust.

So, is Pataki going to figure out how to determine who is radical and who is not? How is he going to do that? You seem to have all the answers so why don’t you let us all know how this is a good idea.

    • Lydia

Problem is, people-a LOT of people, sadly-think ALL Muslims are radical. I have seen some stunning mental gymnastics being done since the SB shooting to justify hating ALL Muslims. More than once, people went so far as to say that even Muslims who publicly condemn the attacks are “cheering inwardly”. I asked them when they obtained their powers of mind-reading, and how could I get some, too.

People WANT to believe that all Muslims are the bad guys. ALL OF THEM. By condoning violence against American citizens, we have given the terrorists EXACTLY what they were hoping. We have played right into their hands.

I for one will not stand by and allow that to happen.

  • Pamela Berube

    Yes, very dishonest reporting!

  • Madge

I’ll say to you what I said to Pamela Berube above. Who decides who is radical and who is not? That is the question here. If it were up to some in the GOP, ALL Muslims would be killed just because they are Muslim. Trump wants to register and track all Muslims because he is afraid of them - thinks they’re out to get him. “…that’s because it’s easier to target Muslims, as they’re a smaller percentage of the population. It’s a bullying tactic…”

This thought has been in my head for a few days, but I couldn’t find the words to voice it. Thank you for writing this.

  • Lydia

    Reposting from earlier:

  • GodlessMama

We have a far bigger problem with christian terrorists in this country than we do muslim ones. Does that mean we should kill them, as well?

    • King Of Bob

Specifically, the medias apparent refusal to label white Christian terrorists as terrorists.

  • Jinmichigan

This should surprise no one. Sickening.

  • JimmyPete

this is the supposed moderate, of course he has less chance of becoming President than Miley Cyrus, but so what, he is a useless piece of garbage,

  • YourDaddy

    Republicans are Satanic.
