Tonight was President Obama’s last White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and thus the last night President Obama would ever show the world why he was elected in the first place.
The man’s aplomb, coolness under pressure, brilliant comedic timing, sharp sense of humor, and genuine connection with today’s social media will certainly be missed. Okay, so maybe Abe Lincoln was pretty damn cool for always wearing that stovepipe hat wherever he went.
At any rate, after delivering what was perhaps the funniest and most brutal performance in his eight years doing the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, the president close the show like a true boss.
And with that I got just two words to say: Obama out.
