WATCH: Arkansas Youth Pastor’s Wife Finds Thousands Of Kiddie P*rn Pictures On His Laptop (VIDEO)

If you go to the web page for the First Assembly of God’s Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas and look under its “leaders” section, you will find the biography for one Tony Waller. He has been employed as their youth pastor since the late 1990s. This is what his biography says:

Tony grew up in Marion and joined the staff of First Assembly in April of 1999. In November of 2000, he married the love of his life, Angie, and together they minister to the kids of JFA. They welcomed their first child, Emma Leigh, in June of 2010. Tony is a huge fan of Star Wars and Angie is a lifelong collector of beautiful rocks. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time with family, vacationing in Branson, watching the Atlanta Braves and checking out the caves of America.

They did leave out one thing, though. This 15 year employee really likes kiddie porn. When his wife found his stash in a file she didn’t recognize, she found literally thousands of pictures of nude and scantily clad prepubescent girls. Waller then reportedly admitted to having a 20 year addiction to such pictures.

Fortunately his wife Angela did the right thing, and called the police and had the pedophile arrested.

But there still does leave one stone unturned. The church’s pastor claims that there are no reports of any misconduct with any of the youth that Mr. Waller worked with. But Mr. Waller already admits that he has had a fascination with prepubescent girls for 20 years, 5 years longer than he has been employed as a youth pastor. Does he think it’s coincidental that a man who liked child pornography just coincidentally ended up seeking and getting a job as a youth pastor?

Really?

It seems like the pastor might be sweeping things under the rug a bit quickly with his statement on the matter:

I encourage the church to handle this with three prongs of love: focus on loving each other as a church family, show tremendous of love to his family and continue to love him.

I suppose loving him is the official mantra of most churches. Love the sinner, hate the sin. O.K., i’ll give them that, but maybe while they are busy loving his pedophile self they could do a little investigating as well?

Sounds like typical Christian bullshit. Anyone of them that commits the most vile acts is automatically forgiven, but let someone NOT a Christian do something, and it’s ‘stone ’em, burn ’em, shoot ’em’. Real Christian charity. Also, doesn’t exactly sound like he married ‘the love of his life…’ Sounds more like another coward hiding behind his religion so he can commit horrendous behavior.

Almost as Shocking as the Roman Catholics…..”Men of the Cloth” seems the same cloth.

How long do you think it will be before we hear that he probably wouldn’t have done these things if the “war on Christianity” hadn’t banned Jesus from the public schools.

    • Kathy English says:

That line kills me. Jesus wasn’t ever banned from Catholic schools, and look at all the pedophile priests.

I hope he goes to jail, and the wife takes their child and moves far away while he’s there…

Well, if I were a member of that church and they continued to let him be the youth minister….or any kind of minister in the church, I would find another church. Problem solved for me. They can work it out for themselves, if they want to let a man who has, admittedly been looking at scantily clad prepubescent girls for 20 years, continue to mill around the kids. The pastor needs to be investigated if he’s going to be so nonchalant about it.

Something that keeps coming up again and again and again as presumed evidence of the degeneracy of Islam and the inferred moral supremacy of Christianity is that the prophet Mohammed married a seven or eight year old girl. Fundamentalist Christians like to put the worst possible interpretation on this historical datum, and to outright state Islam is an institutionally degenerate religion which encourages paedophilia. Which of course would never happen in any upright God-fearing American Christian Church, no sir….

Adherents of all three major religions have equal potential for perverse behavior, and they have proven so. Wicked people lurk within all groups of humans, both secular and religious. Religions may be enabling these behaviors, but they are HUMAN behaviors.

Only too true, alas. Part of my background reading into the Middle Eastern thing - and to be honest, this was a story I was not looking for and had no idea I’d find - was the scandal of child abuse within ultra-orthodox Jews in Jerusalem who used a yeshiva as cover for paedophilia (covered up by the Israeli authorities, apparently, who didn’t want the scandal). Does this happen everywhere adults, generally males, are given absolute authority over children in the name of religion?
