Disrespecting The First Lady: ‘Fat Tranny Mooch’ Should ‘Know Her Role And Shut Up’ (SCREENSHOTS)

The First Lady of the United States is a beautiful, educated woman who deserved our respect and has earned our admiration. For more than six years she has been a positive role model for women, particularly minorities, and championed the fight against childhood obesity.

To the right-wing extremist, she is a drain on the economy, forces kids to eat beets and drink soy milk, and needs to keep her mouth shut “except when she’s trying to rein in” her husband.

The latest hatefest comes from the most misogynist page on Facebook, Stop Hillary in 2016. A meme posted there and the plethora of stupidity in the comments illustrates just what kind of imbeciles the GOP depends on to keep their base alive:

Michelle Obama is by no means a small woman, but anyone, male or female, would have to agree that if you have enough pictures taken of you you’re bound to find a few that are unflattering. This hate page specializes in just that, and while they tend to focus mostly on Hillary Clinton, every once in a while they can’t help but rile up their fan base full of morons to show enormous disrespect for the President’s wife.

This “issue” stems from Mrs. Obama’s school lunch initiative. The informationally-challenged GOP base has taken it upon themselves to decide that the initiative to help our kids make healthier decisions was somehow mandated by the First Lady in a new “First Lady Order” system where First Ladies have the authority to enact or change federal law.

The law was, in fact, passed by Congress, not Michelle Obama, though she did work with nutritionists and school cafeteria managers to help mold the original bill.

That doesn’t matter to conservatives, who care about nothing other than hating her because she’s outspoken, driven, female, and of course, black.

The ignorance of the comments is absolutely astounding:

1
The President recently said in a speech that he wants Michelle to have equal pay. What he meant, of course, is that he wants women to be paid as much as men. That quickly turned into a gaggle of goofballs thinking Michelle Obama was going to be paid to be First Lady.

1

This is exactly the kind of stupidity the GOP loves. She has said out loud that she hates white people? I think we’d all love a link to where that happened, and no, a link to a Rush Limbaugh quote isn’t the same thing.

1

A Republican’s idea of what a First Lady should be is simple: Silent, always smiling, and white. Michelle Obama would have done much better with these a-holes had she put on a Nancy Reagan mask the day her husband was elected and never taken it off.

1

Apparently the constitution has been amended to require that those exercising freedom of speech be elected to something.

The fat jokes are almost to be expected, even though she’s in no way fat, but every once in a while you come across a particularly dimwitted simpleton who posts something like “she’s smuggling illegals.” It’s a true SMDH moment.

Here’s the best one; There’s one in every crowd:

1

He’s an independent who in a single comment spews no less than half of the right-wing nutjob conspiracy garbage propagandized by idiotic pages like Stop Hillary 2016 and Fox News.

If independents were truly that clueless we’d all be screwed.

The combined IQ of everyone on that page might, just MIGHT, break double digits. I doubt it though.

    • CJK5H

If IQ stands for “Ignorance Quotent,” they would score pretty high…

    • Barbara DeMoss

My theory is that in order to be a right-winger, your IQ can be no higher than your age.

  • susanmcnichol

The comments here are all from racists who hate the fact that President Obama is who he is, “President”. The just can’t get over it. So sad. Raised as bigots and will never change. Michelle Obama is a great example of a First Lady.

    • lindylou

They want a mealeymouthed little sellout like Laura Bush.

      • Elizabeth

Laura Bush’s only mistake was marrying George. Otherwise, I think she is a fairly decent human being

        • polliwogg

Except when she’s running stop signs and killing classmates.

          • Elizabeth

An accident, without malice, and something that seems to have affected her very deeply. It does not make her a bad person.

        • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

I have to kind of agree. I like to make fun of her crazy eyes, but in all fairness, can you imagine having to be married to that fool and appear in public with him? I think she probably had to be drugged at least part of the time… I would.

        • lindylou

Agree, other than the car accident thingie and picking the Bush family over her original politics. No accounting for taste, I guess. Yes, she seems nice and quiet and southern belle.

      • Judith_Priest

Hey - Laura had class. She even defended MO against attacks like these.

      • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

        With Stepford Wife Eyes.

      • MzWrites

Well now, there you go doing/saying the same thing that these people are. Not much solution in that. How is your comment different?

    • KimberlyV65

      Absolutely true.

    • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

I find it hysterically funny that these people insult Michelle for being an idiot, nobody, etc. and at the same time acknowledge some omnipotent power she holds over them. Anyone who one obsesses over to this degree has certainly been an influence. And at the very least, if they pay this much attention to everything she says, some nuggets of info (her good messages about health) are bound to get into their pinheads, whether they like it or not.

      • lindylou

She has no “omnipotent power”. She has fame and famous people get listened to.

  • Dr E

I’d LOVE to see where and when she said she hates white ppl seeing how her husband is half white? Really folks? The bible says not to argue with fool, I guess I’d better leave it at that smh

    • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

He can’t be half white! He’s a muslin and a Kenyan!

  • Mark

Just keeping misogyny alive for the Clinton Years!

  • The Reader

The word, respect, is lost on those people. I can only assume they are very unhappy with themselves and quick to blame it on everyone else. Respect is something I see less and less of these days, and it’s important that we find a way to bring it back. Of course, if we don’t respect ourselves, we will hardly respect anyone else be it a neighbor, a parent or authorities. Unfortunately, when respect for one another goes so does rational behavior. I believe with all my heart that Michelle Obama is one of our best first ladies

    • gayle collier

And I pray they don’t have children.

  • Kriquette

Cat L I have my doubts if it would make the double digits since it starts at negative -2000! How awful that they say such heinous things about such an amazing woman, and wonderful role model to women the world over! Not only is she very attractive, she has a great figure she is obviously a wonderful wife and mother and a lawyer to boot! I would like to know what these Cretins have done that would make them worthy to judge our first lady?

    • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

I hate to resort to calling people who are hateful “jealous” but I do think there is a lot of that in this case. Also, racists really flip out when a strong woman of color has any power at all - so Michelle pushes them over the top just by being where she is. If she were flawless in every way (and she pretty much almost is), they would still attack her.

  • lindylou

That foulmouthed crank Mike Ross sounds like a real winner. Neither republican or democrat … when someone proclaims that loud and clear during a hysterical hissy fit, means he probably never votes at all, just sits at home … drawing public money or his mom’s … rubbing himself over pictures of Sarah Palin, and reading comic books.

    • Elizabeth

You are probably right, but you are also making a lot of assumptions and just fanning the fires of hatred.
I am trying sooo hard to not respond to venom with venom. It’s not easy, but I really think that we have to talk rationally, engage in a conversation, rather than spew hate.

      • Chris19741949

Elizabeth, I agree with you, up to a point. The problem is that it would be impossible to have a rational conversation with people who made those tweets above. They simply are not rational, are full of anger, fear, and what they consider hatred…although I think that most of it is probably just ignorance, which these people seem to be very proud of…I really don’t think you would want to be in the same room with them…

        • Elizabeth

No, I probably would not want to be in the same room as them. But I would welcome the opportunity to ask one question: why?. As I see it, the only way we can bring about positive change in this world is to question people’s motives. More to the point, get those people to consider their own motives.
Admittedly, given the level of ignorance that exists in this “greatest country that the world had ever seen”, this is a major undertaking, but it can be done. It must be done.

          • lindylou

Yes, of course you are right about flaming these wingnuts, but Chris is right too … you can’t be rational with these people. The problem with ignoring them is they just keep it up … that’s how race riots, bombings and wars are started.

          • Elizabeth

So don’t ignore them! I’m not sure how you do it, but there has to be a way to engage in dialogue on some level.

          • lindylou

There is no dialogue possible with these haters. They are cemented into their fantasies about end times because of gay marriage or something.

          • Georgia Woolett-Roy

The problem is that when I have asked why, I can never get get an answer

          • Elizabeth

And doesn’t that tell you something!

          • Georgia Woolett-Roy

Pretty much all I need to know…they blindly follow what they are told

          • deb

Ask them why? I’ve done that from time to time and having no rational answers they just deflect. I sometimes read the right wing blogs and it really pains me to see just how horrible and hateful and, yes, racist, they are! They say they aren’t racists but then call the Obamas every racist name they can think of.

          • lindylou

The second one says he or she “is not a racist”, I immediately wonder where the white sheet is.

          • lindylou

Would you also not want to be in the same church as the parishioners who listen to their “men of God” rant about Obama, and Gay People and call for their death. There is NOT ONE liberal congregation that would allow that. There is nothing that angers me more than these “christian” men and women calling for disenfranchisement and even death. Jesus would cast them out even before he tossed out the moneychangers. Just sitting politely by and allowing this is the same as supporting them.

          • Elizabeth

I don’t know how you do it - I never even get to meet the wingnuts - but you said it: sitting by and doing nothing is the same as saying, carry on.
The only approach I can think of is innocent ignorance. Only ask questions you know the answer to and that you can back up. Like, did I hear you say Mrs Obama did xyz? I hadn’t heard that before. I thought……
And, for what it’s worth, I would not want to be in any church as that tends to be where the bigotry stems from.

      • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

I hate to say this, but tolerating them (as we lefties tend to try to do) has resulted in them taking over our airwaves, radio, and the congress. When do you stop and tell them NO MORE? After they successfully come after the gays, women, minorities and poor? We’re almost there. Being nice and turning the other cheek isn’t working.

        • deb

I agree with you. The right wing is constantly saying how we lefties are just as vile and hateful as are they. I really don’t see that at all. Yes, of course, there are some hateful and mean comments from the left but over all the right wingers “win” hands down in the hate department because they never want to have a debate or conversation about facts or ideas. They watch Fox News and listen to the talking points so really cannot engage in an informed debate. It is easier to just throw out venom. They must be very unhappy people.

          • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

Unhappy people who use all their energy making sure everyone else is miserable, too.

    • Kontum7668

Hey, now, what’s wrong with comic books? That should never be used as an insult. Comic books are an amazing investment if you know how to properly care for them. And the stories inside of them, well, they can teach many important lessons. Take for example a recent Hawkeye volume: “While I might be an Avenger, it’s not like I have superpowers.” Hawkeye is one of the greatest heroes in the Marvel Comics Universe (ignore the horrible portrayal of him in the Avengers movie, which was grossly inaccurate to the actual character); he was a founding member of both Avengers West Coast and Great Lakes, he led several other smaller groups, helped reform some criminals, he willingly gave up the only pseudo-family he ever had because they broke the law. He did all this without any kind of super power or suit. Or for a more popular example, just look at Peter Parker. Comic books have great lessons in them, and they certainly don’t deserve the hate that is cast on them constantly.

      • lindylou

They are COMIC BOOKS, excellently entertaining, but should not be a lifestyle, imo.

  • Guest

So who here is ready to be the one to help bring both sides back together INSTEAD of simply continuing to fan the flames of hate and discord?! I don’t think any Democrat NOR Republican is up to the task! And, why should they be??? It’s just so much easier to send ‘salvos’ to the other side with words such as those posted in these comments. Especially if you’re a keyboard warrior. To be completely fair, I clearly remember Laura Bush and Nancy Reagan getting ‘beaten up’ pretty badly to the point of being burned in effigy by the ‘other side’ both while their husbands were in office and after. So, let’s not insult the collective intelligence here by pretending that disrespecting the First Lady is something new…something that only Mrs. Obama is experiencing. NO First Lady should be disrespected because of their husband’s comments, or actions.

    • Amina

Your post is half true….I’m 71yrs and I’ve seen comments on a lot of first ladies…not of them to the point were there were downright vicious…and personal attacks….the reason the two parties can’t come together is because Mitch McConnell swore that he would make her husband a one term president so the repubs followed suite…let’s be very clear that they are still trying to do the impossible…seeing he has won again right in their face…that is the reason why they will not cooperate with him…they want his legacy to be of no accomplishments….but little do they know it will be them that history tells who governed and who did not….IJS

    • LarryEWells

To imply that Laura Bush or Nancy Reagan ever faced the kids d of hatred that Michelle Obama has is totally unreal and ignorant.

    • http://diashoni.tumblr.com DiaShoni

Neither the womanhood nor the humanity of Nancy Reagan or Laura Bush were ever denied.

    • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

We tried for the past 40 years but because we haven’t been strong they have steamrolled over this country and put bigots and fascists in power. So how is our tolerance working for us?

  • ChristianEconCom

I’ve seen the overtly racist bashing of our first lady in the comments section of most of the larger conservative fb pages. There’s a disturbing level of irrational ignorance out there, to put it very kindly. I can’t imagine how disturbing it must be for our literate, educated, thoughtful president and first lady to have to be continually confronted with that reality about so many Americans.

    • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

I bet the Obamas laugh at it. I would. Consider the source, etc. Plus the Obamas are also daily surrounded by people who adore them and treat them with respect. So this would be like some little dopey weak kid yelling at you from behind a fence once in awhile, who cares?

  • Kristen Reeves

All of the haters are people who believe the world owes them, that the USA owes them, and seriously unhappy with where they are at this point in life, probably have control issues, and have a serious case of bigotry. I bet their mothers would be proud of them, but hey, maybe the apples haven’t fallen far from the tree. Learn about respect, and quite possibly, it might be returned to you. Karma has a funny way of doing that.

  • Pat Mojarro

I respect Mrs. Obama. She’s real. Smart. Funny. Caring. Not like most first ladies who looked like paper cutouts of each other. My only issue is pushing what she believes is healthy eating. Nobody takes genetics into consideration. Why should one child in the family feel guilty because she got the fat genes while a sibling will eat everything supposedly bad and over eat and never gain a pound. Why should one be harassed her whole life and forced to live on a diet and feel guilty for having an ice cream cone once a year and the other live life the she wishes. We need to look at the whole picture and stop guilt tripping.

    • Ginger Martinez

What she is encouraging is being healthy. Eating right and getting exercise. It has nothing to do with fat shaming.

      • Pat Mojarro

Works out the same. You can eat healthy and exercise and still have a weight problem and people who are ignorant will still make comments. What is healthy anyway? People say it is one way of cooking and eating. I know people raised on rendered lard and bread snacks which according to all sources should clog your arteries who died at a very old age with the heart of a 50 year old, never went to a doctor or was diabetic or had high blood pressure. In fact when she passed the doctor said it was just old age. It’s all genetics. Her mother was 96 when she picked up a nurse and threw her across a room. Strong as a horse. Healthy isn’t the same for everyone and kids shouldn’t be forced to eat foods they don’t like.

        • Mone Love

Pat I think you’re missing the point. ALLOT of families in the USA eat prepackaged, sugar laden, carb-induced products several times a day. MANY families across America eat fast food several times a day and most times up to 6x a week. Many families drink excessive amounts of sugary drinks-A good majority of families in america do not get physical exercise nor do they practice doing routine exercise. In these families are children learning from adults poor eating habits and not practicing any type of physical exertion. Child obesity, diabetes, heart disease and other ailments are plaguing the adults in this country, killing them and causing their children to become prisoners of their bodies at young ages through no fault of their own other than their parents willingly turning a blind eye to the severity or seriously not having the awareness.

I fail to see how ONE healthy meal provided by the state/federal funds a day equates out to being the end of the world. There are children in this country who’s only meal IS that meal served at school. There are also children who eat mass amounts of unhealthy food like I stated above daily and the only healthy meal they get in a day is provided at school.

I think the bottom line is this: If your child doesn’t want to eat school provided lunches than send your child to school with a lunch. Your child isn’t being FORCED to eat school lunches. Your child is being given a school lunch because you are not providing them with one-

Also let me address your lard eating friends real quick and say that THAT is not the majority-The data proves and supports the opposite of your friends. Also what you should take into consideration along with genetics and your lard eating friends is that foods were made from scratch back in the day using real, fresh ingredients. We did not have a lot of artificial, synthetics in our foods, we weren’t lactose and gluten intolerant, we didn’t have adversities to nuts and honey. What has changed? How we farm our foods, agricultural production, hidden synthetic sugars, GMO’s, growth hormones, contaminated live stock, etc—

I don’t see how educating children or yourself for that matter on how to make better food choices is something to go off the deep end about-I think energy spent against this would be far better used towards demanding accurate labeling on our food, anti-propaganda health food labels and lot letting Monsanto be able to import there cancer laden foods into this country.

My apologies for this being so long

          • Pat Mojarro

Same stuff my grandparents and greatgrandparent grew up on and lived into their late 90s. I worked for a school food service so I know all about school lunches. I also know when you give a latino kids a polish meal during lunch it doesn’t work.

        • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

Wrong, and you’re stupid. So shut up, troll.

          • Pat Mojarro

What are you? Ten? Grow up and talk like an adult. You are showing your bad manners and ignorance

        • Ginger Martinez

They are not being forced they are being encouraged. If they do not like it they can bring lunch from home. choices for school lunches should not be, what scientists and doctors consider, unhealthy. My children were not allowed to eat candy for meals and regularly told me they hated vegetables. Yes I made them eat their vegetables. This country is in a health crisis. Children are developing diabetes and obesity at alarming rates. Encouraging exercise and healthy eating is in no way forcing anything. Would you not teach your kid or family member to watch what they eat if there was a very good chance they would get sick?

    • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

    • D Lemon

NOTHING like the bile spewed towards Mrs. Obama. But let’s say for a moment that your premise is true. Doesn’t that mean that we have a serious problem in this country, where we can hate someone so much who is only trying to do their job (unpaid and thankless as the job of First Lady is)?

      • marcw52

I feel that the FLOTUS of ANY party along with the family should not be subject to personal attacks physical appearance, dress etc. However, Michelle Obama has inserted herself into the public discourse with her school lunch initiative. People did not like what she did and criticized it. I dont know what she expected to happen when she put herself into the public forum. I would say the same for any FLOTUS

        • VMWH

So disagree with the lunch program. But why would you go after her figure or gender? Are you perfect? It is clear that you are hiding behind a stock photo. What are you hiding that you are afraid to show us?

The worst Laura got called was a Stepford wife. Complete far cry from this racist bullshit. But you already know that. And why do you have a photo of a black man as your avatar when you’re white? Odd.

      • S.M.

It’s not racist, beeeeeeeech. You are the racist, obviously. Making a big deal out of a poster’s photo. But go ahead and say it - you can’t help your liberal self - we’re racists and it’s Bush’s fault.

        • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

          Naff off, racist trollie.

  • D Lemon

I used to enjoy occqsionally trolling those “Hate Michelle” sites, making fun of the ignorance and racism displayed. But I can’t do it anymore. It hurts my heart too much, and the ugliness was infecting me and making me ugly too.

Recently, I was at a truck stop, eating dinner. At a table nearby were two women, loudly discussing how awful Mrs. Obama is. The one doing most of the talking was wearing a sloppy sweatshirt, jeans, had her feet up on the seat across from her. She was complaining loudly how “Moochelle” had no class, not like other First Ladies. It was all I could do to not confront her on her hatefulness. But it wouldn’t help. I don’t understand how these people can live with the much hate in their hearts. The worst part is most of them call themselves Christians.

    • http://call911foropencarry.org/ Helen Wheels

They tell themselves Michelle and Barack are Muslims, that gives them free reign to hate as Christians. See how they do it?

Good on you for ignoring. The only ones like this we can’t ignore are the ones running for office. They need to be sought out and publicly shamed.

      • D Lemon

That is an excellent point. The ones running for office (or actively campaigning for someone) need to be called out on their hate. But with our “both sides do it” media, I don’t see that happening any time soon

I’ve seen this for 6 years and they all sound the same. Just a bigot-bagger racist echo-chamber of extremely ignorant people. I’m actually surprised most of them figured out to use social media like facebook in the first place. I guess it used up all their brain cell.

Meanwhile… this article should have an accompanying warning that reading the comments of the bigotbaggers may lower your I.Q. as much as 5 points.

I am an Independent and Mick Ross is an embarrassment to the rest of us. Mick, be a man and own the fact that you’re really a Ditto-head.

  • sabelmouse

    wow, [white] people!

  • Mike Askew

I knew and saw some bigotry in my lifetime but never to the level these past 6+ years, this country (my country) is sooooooo eaten, consumed with it…..Sad

  • Scott Lair

Respect is something earned not just given. She pushed school lunch program. The amount of waste is incredible, no kid wants to eat!

    • Barbara DeMoss

I raised 6 kids, part of that time as a single mom. I served the same thing 3 meals/day. It was called “Like it or lump it.” I cooked one meal … the kids could eat it or go hungry until the next meal. If you didn’t eat it you couldn’t have dessert, and you couldn’t snack between meals. Consequently, my children eat everything. If more parents practiced this at home, there wouldn’t be so much garbage in the school lunch room. Many parents are too lazy to prepare nutritious meals. Working outside the home is no excuse. I often had the kids’ friends at my house for supper, so you know that what I fed them couldn’t have been bad.

That’s how it was in oir home too!

  • Pamela Hunter

It is all under the heading of Racism. Never before has both the President and First Lady have been treated in such a way. No one said bad things about Barbara Bush… and their are things to say. I guess this all goes with the dumbing down of society. But the major issue is Racism.

  • irrefudiate

“I’m an Independent” is a disclaimer either preceding or following a biased attack, similar to “I’m not a racist, but,”.

  • deb

Yep, it really is pathetic. They spew nothing but hate, racism and outlandish lies. I’ve yet to see an actual intelligent comment or any attempt at rational debate. I sometimes look at the blogs on the extreme right and am stunned at the hate and ignorance. I know that not all Republicans think this way so I wonder why they don’t step out and take back their party. It really has gotten completely out of hand.

  • T Wallace

Just watch her, she will continue on with her campaign in spite of these people and these so called “unflattering pictures.” We all are critical about ourselves to a fault, but you can be sure that this special lady, as she should, could care less what people like this think, do or post. She knows it comes with the territory, like how they post so called “unflattering pictures” of our President, her husband. When you understand why these people do what they do, she, you and we realize just how special she is. Hey people, you can’t still her joy. She rocks!

  • HoosierMommy

I really wish you would just not publish such things - it just spreads their vitriol.

  • Georgia Woolett-Roy

What a hateful bunch, she has more grace in her little pinky than any of these awful people.

  • rwellsrwells

Wow, you just can’t over estimate how disturbed some folks are.

  • Susan Wood

It’s the same garbage that was spewed at Hillary Clinton for eight years, with an additional dose of racist poison to make the misogyny spicier. These people are terrified of the sight of a successful career woman with a mind of her own, and the sight of a minority woman doing something other than working as a hotel maid sends them into gibbering hysterics.

  • Andres Herrera

    White people smh…..

  • Katie Kenny McMullin

I tend to ignore and never comment on the blatherings of those whom I not only disagree with but am genuinely disgusted by, such as Rush Limbagh and Glen Beck, to name only two. Funny how they still seem to be so enraptured by our First Lady that they feel compelled to comment on her. She’s gotten their attention, for sure. Their comments are abhorrent and are only relevant to their like minded (term used loosely) peers.

  • Rudewaitress

They show their own ignorance…check out “tell me now” and it is not inly disgusting the things they say about Mrs Obama but the terrible things they say about their daughters..evil and very vile…

  • grannieannie2

These white trash idiots want our FLOTUS to be like their wives, “go to the kitchen and make me a sandwich and make it snappy”. If Michelle went to the White House kitchen to make a sandwich one of the White House cooks would make the sandwich for her and have one of the busboys bring it to her on a platter. Sorry, idiots, she’s our FIRST LADY! So swallow that and I sincerely hope you choke on it!
