As I listened to an entire crowd applaud Donald Trump for belittling a woman on national television I couldn’t help but throw up in my mouth a little. These people, the GOP base, were actually hooting, howling and clapping after Megyn Kelly called Trump on his sexist remarks about women:
You’ve called them pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals.
Trump responded “only Rosie O’Donnell,” and the crowd went nuts. The low life, despicable, Republican base of hate went nuts. As I continued to watch with extreme malice in my heart I realized that Megyn Kelly was disgusted as well. Then I realized that I had something in common with Megyn Kelly, and threw up in my mouth a little.
Trump goes on to explain why America is so horrible. In doing so he pulls out the “politically correct” card, and again the crowd goes wild. This ridiculous waste of oxygen who has disrespected every person on the planet who isn’t a white male between the ages of 24 and 70 is actually loved by these people. What can I say. They’re Republicans.

You know, I watched that telecast last night too and was just as disgusted as you, Mr. Topher. I also saw Meghan Kelly’s reactions. Somehow, I get the feeling that to just keep her job, she’s saying and doing a lot of things that she really doesn’t agree with for “faux noise.” Hmmm.. Could it be possible? I think so. I kinda felt sorry for her, as a woman and a human being to be subject to the villany that is donald trump….
I don’t feel sorry for her at all. She works for a network that bashes women, homosexuals, Muslims, blacks and Hispanics every chance they get. She enjoys her blood money that comes from catering to Fox’s audience of demented, violent, hateful jerks.
Meh. Megan Kelly has been on record saying incredibly racist stuff. She’s just offended because this time those remarks were against people like her.
When she gets offended at racism, homophobia, and transphobia I’ll be surprised.
Melinda Killie, She was offered a job by four different networks and she turned them down. I don’t think she is as innocent or as disgusted as you think. I did notice she took pleasure in her got you moment sort of questioning. The surprise on her face was when he doubled down on his response. He is not apologetic in regards to what he says or does. Fox had their hands full with him. They thought to destroy him while making the others look like a better choice for voters and it failed. This is the reason everyone is talking about him and not so much the other candidates.
Why are Megyn Kelly or the folks at Fox surprised? They have been fomenting hate, misogyny, homophobia and ignorance since 1996. Their audience loves Trump because he’s a jerk. I think it’s funny that he’s so popular with the GOP and Fox’s audience. Roger Alles is loving it.
Trump is the true face of the GOP. Why is anyone surprised? Fox is run by racists, homophobes, misogynists and bullies. They cater to that audience-especially Hannity. Republicans and Fox have been waging a war on women.
The GOP and Fox News don’t like women with strong minds and strong opinions.

The GOP appeals to the lowest base voters and the GOP people who own media just pumps these people with 24/7 bigoted, angry, extremist, lying, propaganda…………………..so of course eventually the weak willed will believe what they are seeing.
Megyn Kelly is just getting a much needed dose of reality. I really wish she would change her ideology and views, but she wants to run with the wrong crowd this is what’s going to happen. Its not right but…….
Maybe now that Roger Ailes has thrown her under the bus to beg forgiveness from Trump, Kelly will have second thoughts about her chosen affiliations.
In an other lifetime, maybe. In this current one, not going to happen.
You’re probably right, but if you’re an actual genuine journalist who has made a professional decision to represent an “entertainment” channel, you probably have a few regrets to start with. I speak from experience here, though in no way on the level of Megan Kelly. I worked at the NY Post right after Murdoch bought it and found that the hefty wages and comic book atmosphere didn’t satisfy my youthful idealism about journalism. I quit and took a job at an alternative weekly for one-fifth the income. For some people, money — and ratings — don’t really compensate for selling out as a journalist. Add to that, in Kelly’s case, a ream of death threats from the lunatics she used to preach to and a redefinition of her stature as the network’s queen bee, and let’s just say it wouldn’t shock me to see Kelly move on to a more journalistically legitimate channel.
What did he say that is so wrong? I dont get it. Far lefters just trying to find something to whine about. I am middle of the road and dont think this is off.
If you can’t understand what’s wrong with Donald Trump’s ugly verbiage, then you are the perfect GOP voter. It’s good that you don’t hide your crassness, your mindless adherence to rapacious BS, or your belief that you are somehow superior to the people who deride a professional troll like Trump. If you “dont think this is off,” you’re basically pulling your pants down in public to reveal the avalanche of ignorance that occupies your brain.

Just how long can Megyn Kelly continue to work for Fox and be treated like a hooker? Trump’s chumps are already campaigning to have her fired from Fox.
