Julia Louise-Dreyfuss and Larry David graced the stage during this week’s Saturday Night Live with a mash up skit that combined Seinfeld with the CNN Democratic Debate in Brooklyn.
Larry played Bernie Sanders as usual, and Kate McKinnon reprised her role as Hillary Clinton - but the surprise guest was “Elaine” from Seinfeld who was picked by CNN from the audience to ask Bernie and Hillary some questions, as a “long time New York resident.”
I don’t want to spoil the skit for you, but you could say Elaine showed up, asked some questions, yadda yadda yadda, and it was totally hilarious. It really was like watching a brand new Seinfeld bit that included Hillary and Bernie. What’s not to love about that? Larry and Julia even managed to sneak in a George Costanza reference at one point.
