Trump’s Attack On Syria Was All A Big ‘Symbolic’ Show; Syria KNEW He Was Coming (DETAILS)

U.S. Officials confirmed late Thursday that Russia was told about the plan to attack a Syria and it looks like they, in turn, warned Syria, because the base Trump targeted was virtually empty.

Syrian military officials appeared to anticipate Thursday’s night raid on Syria‘s Shayrat airbase, evacuating personnel and moving equipment ahead of the strike, according to an eyewitness to the strike.

The eyewitness believes human casualties, at least within the civilian population, were minimal, as there was no traffic heading toward the local hospital.

So what was the point, then? The point, it seems, was for Trump to show some power to world leaders who know exactly what he is — a complete joke and utter disaster as a president. The problem is, that like the rest of us, the people he’s trying to impress or scare if you will, are probably not buying it.

Former National Security Adviser Richard Clarke told ABC News:

This attack on one air base seems more symbolic. I think Secretary of Defense [General] James Mattis gave the president a list of options, this being the smallest. It was a targeted attack not designed to overwhelm the Syrian military … I think the president was trying to differentiate himself from his predecessor.”

Trump has tried to blame President Obama’s “weakness” for the violence that is escalating in Syria, which is comical, to say the least, because Trump himself tweeted multiple times during Obama’s presidency that we need to stay out of Syria altogether and focus on fixing America. Here are just a few examples of those tweets:

But it’s always easy for him to turn around and blame President Obama now — he does it constantly. To add to this, many Trump supporters used the term “warmonger” to describe Hillary Clinton. They also used that as their reason not to vote for her in the 2016 election, but here they are now — cheering Trump on for doing exactly what he and they said should never happen. Funny how the tables turn…

The most disgusting and disturbing part of all of this is the fact that Trump is using the images of the dead Syrian children that were needlessly killed in the chemical attacks this past Tuesday as his excuse for his decision to suddenly act. I guess it didn’t occur to him that had he helped those people escape in the first place, those poor children might not have been killed.
