Tina Fey put Saturday Night Live back on the map during the 2008 election season when she portrayed a scatterbrained, then vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin. Some of Fey’s one-liners were so spot on, that people actually thought Palin had said them herself — probably the most well known and longest running joke was when Fey said, “I can see Russia from my house!” Palin didn’t actually say those exact words, but during her first major interview after John McCain picked her to be his running mate, when Charles Gibson asked her what knowledge she had gained about Russia, living so close to them, she said, “They’re our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.”
Watch:
I’m not sure why she would want to remind us of one of her most mockable moments, but sure enough, she did! Sunday night she tweeted:
“Russia’s getting out of hand? So says the defeated. Not to worry… remember I can keep an eye on them from here.”

There are hundreds more where these came from. You can read them all here.
Sarah Palin is a “wannabe” politician who never stands a chance at getting anywhere in government and for some reason, she just can’t help herself from reminding us of that every chance she gets.
