It seems that many people in Donald Trump’s criminal, despotic excuse for a presidential administration are seeing the writing on the wall when it comes to the investigation being conducted by Special Counsel Robert S. Mueller III into the alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government in an attempt to fix the 2016 presidential election. Mueller has gotten indictments and guilty pleas from key former Trump aides, including former Campaign Manager Paul Manafort, former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, and Manafort’s protege Rick Gates. Now, Mueller has turned the screws on former White House Chief Strategist Stephen K. Bannon, and it is being reported that Bannon has flipped on Trump and taken a deal to save his own ass.

Further, despite Team Trump’s bullying, there will be no allowances for executive privilege:

This should surprise no one; after all, since Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House dropped, Bannon’s scathing opinions of Trump and his family have been made public, and the former insider is now a pariah. Once seen as the kingmaker who would once again weaponize Breitbart News to gin up more of the same support for Trump that helped put the orange dictator-in-waiting in the White House, Bannon is now no longer at the propaganda outlet and has no friends left in the Republican Party. In short – he has nothing left to lose, and every reason in the world to spill his guts and then some to Mueller.
If anyone really has the goods on Trump, it’s Steve Bannon. He is the one who was by Trump’s side during the infamous Access Hollywood scandal, and he is the one who made sure that Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania would go to Trump, thus handing him the electoral votes needed to put him in the White House. While Bannon may now regret getting Trump elected, he certainly has the power to undo that very real evil. He might not do it for the right reasons, but that matters not — just as long as it gets done.
