Ivanka Immediately Begins Hawking Her (Foreign Made) RNC Clothing To Gullible Republicans

Just hours after Ivanka Trump gave an introductory speech for her father at the Republican National Convention, she tweeted to gullible Republicans that she would be selling knock-off versions of her “RNC look.” Because why miss a good opportunity to swindle the people who just spent four days screaming “We Want Trump!” at the top of their lungs?

Ivanka is selling the dress (or a version of it) that she wore during her big night at the convention. It will cost Trump fans 138 bucks. Along with being a “sophisticated sheath dress,” it’s also the one that was seen around the world in a now-viral video of Trump sliding his hand to rest on her backside.

Like her father, Ivanka didn’t let hypocrisy get in the way of profits, either. Despite her dad’s pledge to put “America First,” Ivanka’s clothing line is imported from clothing manufacturers overseas.

And it also comes via Macy’s, a clothing store that Donald Trump has repeatedly told his followers to boycott.

Presumably now that his daughter can make a few bucks from the retail giant, Trump will forgive Macy’s for being “weak on border security.” Whatever that means.

Trump’s family has repeatedly been accused of milking the Republican nomination for personal gain. Many critics even suggest Trump has very little interest in actually being president, and may merely be in it for the publicity. Those claims are supported by the fact that Trump has often remarked that he won’t necessarily accept the job even if he gets elected. He’s also promised potential vice presidential choices that he would focus on “Making America Great Again” while they could focus on “domestic and foreign policy.” He once (jokingly?) remarked that he could be persuaded to drop out for the right price.

It’s clear that his family sees this entire clown show as an opportunity to make big bucks from the people who now worship their father with almost cult-like zealotry. Will they buy Ivanka’s dress for $138 and their self-respect? You better believe it.
