Christian Radecki, a convicted sex offender living in Cape Coral, Florida, thought it would be a good idea to drive over to his local Sheriff’s house, climb on top of the cop cruiser sitting in the driveway, and then proceed to start dancing to music blaring out of his car radio.
The entire incident was caught on surveillance video, and the Lee County Sheriff’s office released the footage on their You Tube page.
After several minutes of dancing, Mr. Radecki then oddly steals a neighbor’s American flag, goes back into the Sheriff’s yard, and hangs it up proudly. He must have thought the Sheriff needed a flag in his yard to show what a good patriot he was. Not a bad gesture, really.
At around this same time, several police show up to the house after neighbors reported “strange activity.” They apparently didn’t think it was that funny. They arrested Radecki on the spot.
If this wasn’t weird enough, he ended up telling authorities that he did it “to protect local children from bloodthirsty vampires.” No joke. And, no, he was not under the influence of anything. That’s the strangest part.
For the record, his dance playlist started with Hall & Oates’ “Rich Girl,” and ended after Supertramp’s “Goodbye Stranger.”
