It’s so hard to believe that it has nearly been eight years since George Bush and his evil league of calamitous intent on setting the world on fire, only to sneak away like thieves in the night. It’s important to remember that every single one of the Bush administration were odious demon spawn, hell-bent on reconstructing the middle east by any means necessary.
But if there were an evil Oates to Dick Cheney’s evil Hall, it was most definitely former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
Like most completely oblivious public officials using Twitter, Rumsfeld just invited a fusillade of fury from Twitter users after lamenting he would not likely live long enough to see a flat tax enacted. Yes, because that’s exactly the type of things he should be ruminating in your coffin years. That’s equivalent to an aging serial killer lamenting that he’ll never witness a way to kill a bunch if people and get away with it.
The utter chutzpah of Rumsfeld’s tweet resulted in a flurry of social media users to vent their anger at him over the Iraq War and countless other evil crap when he served in the George W. Bush administration.
Of course, Rummy would prefer a flat tax, as it adversely hurts the poor and middle-class. Perhaps he thought he would be greeted on Twitter with flowers and candy.
