Men are terrible. Yes, this may seem like a gross over-generalization but, when one considers the existence of “men’s rights” activists and all of their moronic bullsh*t, the fact that 1 in 3 college-aged males admit they would commit rape if it wasn’t called rape, and the sad reality that men on dating websites don’t care if you’re 15 or even 13-years old (because they want to f*ck you anyway), it is easy to come to the conclusion that (if it were not for their rather prominent role in human reproduction) every single male on earth should be rounded up and the area razed. [Author’s Note: Based on some responses to this statement, it is somehow (unfortunately) necessary to point out that I did not actually suggest men should be exterminated. It is, however, easy to draw such a conclusion, and I stand by that.]
Speaking of children and the internet, YouTuber “Kyle” posed as a 13-year-old girl in an adult chat room and encouraged people who were interested in talking to an extremely underage female to add “her” on Skype. While there were many interested perverts, one particular individual earned a spot in a video on Kyle’s Facebook wall.
“All these dudes added me on Skype,” Kyle explained. “And this one particular guy who referred to himself as ‘Pervy Old Man’ — he’s married with kids — and he added me on Skype thinking he was talking to a 13-year-old.”
During the course of the conversation on Skype Mr. Pervert, who says he is 45-years-old and from the U.K. but appears much younger and has a U.S. flag in the background, moved in for the kill once his wife was out:
Kyle told Mr. Perv to remove his shirt and close his eyes — and what happened was horrific:
Shockingly, “Pervy Old Man,” someone who would seek out a child on the internet, could not be trusted to honor his agreement to close his eyes. Kyle and friends turned on the camera and sat, smiling. The moment the camera turned on, our predator immediately disconnected and continued his hunt elsewhere.
According to Enough Is Enough, “Only 18% of youth use chat rooms, however, the majority of Internet-initiated sex crimes against children are initiated in chat rooms” as was demonstrated by Kyle and his pervy friend. Between 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused before they reach adulthood. One in 7 children receives a sexual solicitation online, and over half of those solicited online are asked to send a picture.
While only 4 percent of all youth internet users receive “aggressive sexual solicitations, which threatened to spill over into ‘real life,” 73 percent of them met the solicitor offline. The majority of victims between 13 and 15 years old, 75 percent, are girls — though only 1 in 3 of them will report the crime to a trusted adult.
It is very important for parents to monitor their children’s online activity in case they meet someone like “Pervy Old Man.”
Recently, after noticing that a number of females I saw on a dating site (aaah, the single life) are clearly under the age of 18, I posed as a 13-to 15-year-old girl (varying at random with each contact) in an effort to see exactly what sort of danger children face when they decide they want a cool older friend. It got very ugly:
