With his recent interview with Playboy (Super Villain Monthly was all booked), Dick Cheney threw his diabolical self back into the news cycles after making some rather bold criticisms of President Obama. For example, the overlord of calamitous intent said President Obama, “the worst president in his lifetime.” President Harrison, the putz who died after catching pneumonia for refusing to wear a coat during his presidential inauguration, still made a more effective and better president than Bush. Anyway, liberal activist and Academy Award winning actor Sean Penn took notice and exquisitely slammed Cheney.
Here was Penn during a recent appearance on Conan:
You mentioned Dick Cheney, this kind of, you know, embittered bacteria of humanity,” Penn said. “It’s always a surprise to me to remember that, through bionic technology and so on, this guy’s still here.”
“But then we have people like Harvey Milk, who were beautiful, brilliant, impactful guys, and, you know – it’s just no good deed will go unpunished, and then you’ve got the Cheneys,” said Penn, who played the slain LGBT rights activist and San Francisco city supervisor. “This is just me musing. I would say he’s more of an existential void that feeds on angst, but that was just as good.
