Republican presidential candidate is a complete and utter imbecile. Last week he blamed the victims of the UCC shooting, because they didn’t all charge the shooter and get themselves killed.
This week, the father of a victim of the Columbine High School massacre had some scathing words for Ben Carson and his ignorant anti-gun control rants.
Tom Mauser, father of Daniel Mauser, posted a video to YouTube and told Carson just what he thought of him:
This is a message for Dr. Ben Carson, the Republican presidential candidate who made some statements this past week following the tragic shootings at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon. I’d like to respond to some of those statements because I thought they were so insensitive, so reckless, disgraceful, senseless, shameful.
Mauser went on and lambasted Carson for his “victim blaming” comments and what he called the “excuse-making that happens among pro-gun activists.” He even went into graphic detail about what happened to his child, during the April 20, 1999 school massacre:
I’d like to share a story with you, Dr. Carson. In 1999, during the massacre at Columbine, my son Daniel was in the library along with some other students. They were all underneath tables. The shooters went from table to table shooting some students, sparing others.
After more than a dozen students had been shot, the shooter approached my son. He fired one bullet that went to Daniel’s hand. Daniel then pushed a chair at the shooter and for that he paid with his life. The second shot went into his face and killed him…I will never know whether maybe that action of his lead to his death. I’ll never know if that second shot would have been fired if he hadn’t pushed the chair.
And that’s why we shouldn’t question, Dr. Carson,” Mauser concluded. “If we weren’t in that room, if we weren’t faced with those circumstances, we don’t know.
This parent suffered an unspeakable tragedy and he had to listen to a man, who is running for president, say vile things about victims of a shooting just like the one his lost his child to.
In this writer’s opinion, Ben Carson has no business leading this nation and he should have dropped out of the race ages ago.
Instead, he has decided to embarrass himself and our country every single time he opens his mouth. In some ways, he is even worse than Donald Trump.
