Watch: Black Man Harrassed For Walking With His Hands In His Pockets On A Frigid Michigan Day (VIDEO)

What is going on in America?  Brandon McKean of Pontiac, Michigan was walking down the street when he was stopped by a police officer.  When asked why, the officer responded, “you’re making people nervous.”

Someone had called the police and informed them that there was in fact a black man walking down the street with his hands in his pockets on a cold and snowy Michigan day.  For his own protection, Brandon took video on his phone of the incident.  The officer took out his phone and did the same.

Brandon became a bit upset, and rightfully so.  When the officer asked him what he was doing he responded in a somewhat belligerent tone, “walking.  With my hands in my pockets.

He informed the officer that there were likely ten-thousand people in Pontiac at that moment with their hands in their pockets.

The cop attempted to make light of the situation by offering a high-five to Brandon, who reciprocated, and the episode ended with out incident.

Without official incident that is.  Had Brandon not been taking video the possibility that he would have been further harassed, frisked and possibly even detained for such menacing behavior would have been a good bet to make for some easy money.
