On Thursday, in a scene out of numerous Law & Order episodes, the grieving father of a murdered 19-year-old girl snapped in a courtroom and attacked the grinning serial killer that had tortured and murdered his daughter:
I was thinking about how he mutilated my child, how you cut my child, and you did all this while my child was still alive so you caused my baby great pain,” he said.
And when Madison — who couldn’t remember killing Terry’s daughter — smiled at the grieving father, Terry snapped.
He charged across the room and dove at the murderer.
“I don’t know if I thought about leaping or thought about what have you, I just know I wanted him,” Terry told Fox8.
Frankly, I was cheering for Terry to strangle the monster to death.
Here’s the video:
In May, Michael Madison was convicted of murdering three women in Glenville and dumping the bodies in a garage, a vacant lot and a backyard that Madison could see from his apartment window. The violence and depravity of the crimes, combined with Madison’s utter lack of regret moved Judge McDonnell to hand down her very first death sentence.
It remains to be seen if the prosecutors will charge Terry but in the unlikely event they did, who could possibly convict him of trying to kill the grinning monster that took his daughter’s life?
