According to court documents filed in Florida last week, a woman claims that previously convicted sex-offender Jeffrey Epstein loaned her out as a sex slave when she was a minor, forcing her to have sex with Prince Andrew and famed criminal-defense lawyer and Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz, among others.
Jeffrey Epstein is a billionaire financier with many prominent and wealthy friends. It is no secret that he is a close friend to Prince Andrew and has ties with Alan Dershowitz. Dershowitz claims they’ve both attended parties involving “mostly men.” Prince Andrew even visited Mr. Epstein and stayed at his house for four days after Epstein was released from prison.
Mr. Epstein took perhaps one of the best plea deals in recent history, for a crime that could have put him away for 33 life sentences for his involvement with the sex trafficking of under-aged girls.
According to an attorney for some of the teenage girls, who were Epstein’s victims:
It’s an embarrassment to the U.S. Attorneys office, that he received this plea deal only giving him 18 months (of which he only served 13 months).
Now that these new motions are filed, it has caused Mr. Dershowitz to go on the defensive. He sat down with a BBC reporter to discuss the issue at length:
BBC: So, you’ve never been at any of these sex orgies, as described?
Dershowitz: No, I have never been at any of these sex orgies, as described. They are completely false.
You can watch the interview here:
While not yet confirmed by the press, it is believed that Jane Doe # 3, as described in the court documents, is Virginia Roberts. Virginia Roberts has spoken out in the press, and has been photographed with Prince Andrew. Currently, there are no photos of Mrs. Roberts with Mr. Dershowitz that would implicate him in the matter along with the Prince, other than the woman’s mere allegations.
Dershowitz said he would file disbarment proceedings against the lawyers who filed the motion, Bradley J. Edwards, a lawyer in Florida, and Paul G. Cassell, a former federal judge and law professor at the University of Utah.
Mr. Dershowitz said in a phone interview about the two lawyers:
They are lying deliberately, and I will not stop until they’re disbarred.
Mr. Cassell said in a statement on Saturday that the lawyers carefully investigated all of the charges in their pleadings before representing them to the court.
Her attorneys released a statement from the victim in which she states:
I’m not going to be bullied back into silence, again. I am going to name every guy who deserves to be named, when I go to court.
It looks like Mr. Dershowitz will get what he’s asking for, after all.
