Donald Trump can screw up absolutely anything. It just seems to come naturally to him. On Thursday, he spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast and turned what should have been an easy gig into yet another humiliating moment.
Trump apparently decided that it would be a good idea to tell everybody he has no idea what he is talking about and then, just for fun, throw out some profanity while speaking to a chaplain at the prayer breakfast. Because, why not?
“Thank you as well to Senate Chaplain Barry Black for his moving words. And I don’t know, chaplain, whether or not that’s an appointed position. Is that an appointed position? I don’t even know if you’re a Democrat or if you’re a Republican. But I’m appointing you for another year. The hell with it!”
Yes, he really went there… at the National Prayer Breakfast… while speaking to the Senate Chaplain. And you can cue the collective facepalm of an embarrassed nation right about… now.
