Legendary Mexican-American actress Salma Hayek was on Jimmy Kimmel this week when he asked her about Donald Trump and if she’s offended some of his comments.
I haven’t seen him since he started this part of his entertainment career,” Hayek said.
“If you speak, he is going to listen,” Kimmel said.
Hayek then surprised everyone by offering a profound perspective on Trump’s campaign.
I don’t think he listens to me. No. You don’t need to talk sense into him. Everybody is entitled to their own madness. You have to talk sense into the people who are not seeing the madness.
What Hayek said made perfect sense. Trump is not the problem; it’s what’s making him popular that’s the problem. And it’s not the corporate media because if media saturation was the culprit then O.J. Simpson could’ve won the White House. The real concern is the American voters who support Trump, or as Hayek describes them, “the people who are not seeing the madness.”
