Rush Limbaugh Blasts Liberal ‘Rape Police’ For Requiring Consent For Sexual Contact

First the defense of Donald Trump was that his conversation with Billy Bush was just “guys being guys.” It was just “locker room talk” and he was just peacocking in front of another guy. But as the evidence against Trump gets harder and harder to defend, conservative have begun changing it to “consent isn’t important, anyway.” Seriously.

On Wednesday, Rush Limbaugh created a new defense of Donald Trump’s actions just hours prior to the release of stories from several women who say Trump did to them exactly what he had described in those tapes.

Rush said:

“Standards, you stand up for moral standards, you’re gonna be mocked and laughed out of the room.  They’re gonna call you a prude.  They’re gonna call you a Victorian.  They’re gonna call you an old fuddy-duddy, an old fogy, and they’re gonna claim you want to deny people having a good time.  So a culture which rejects moral standards. In other words, anything goes.  You know what the magic word is? The only thing that matters in American sexual mores today is one thing.  You can do anything, the left will promote and understand and tolerate anything as long as there is one element.  Do you know what it is?

Consent.

If there is consent on both or all three or all four, however many are involved in the sex act, it’s perfectly fine, whatever it is.  But if the left ever senses and smells that there’s no consent in part of the equation then here come the rape police.  But consent is the magic key to the left.”

Actually, yes, consent IS key. If consent is removed from the scenario, we are then speaking of a crime. How can that possibly be a disputed concept at this point in time?

“Well, in this atmosphere, how does anybody dare preach to Donald Trump?  When we have spent the last 25 or 30 years obliterating the moral code, when we have blown virtue to smithereens, who are you phony baloney, plastic banana, good-time rock ‘n’ rollers all of a sudden now sitting in judgment of Donald Trump?”

People are sitting in judgment of Donald Trump because he removed consent from the equation of sexual contact.

Strangely enough, while looking for a photo to accompany this story, a picture of Rush Limbaugh giving actress Mary Lynn Rajskub an unsolicited kiss was discovered. Birds of a feather.

The picture was taken during a panel discussion called “America’s Image in Fighting Terrorism: Fact, Fiction, or Does It Matter?”organized by the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation. Rajskub had been invited to participate in the panel because she was an actress playing the part of Chloe O’Brien in the popular television series “24”. Rush was invited to be the moderator. The two had never met before this event.

Here’s what Rush did.

WASHINGTON - JUNE 23: Radio personality Rush Limbaugh (L) kisses actress Mary Lynn Rajskub (R) before the start of a panel discussion "'24' and America's Image in Fighting Terrorism: Fact, Fiction, or Does It Matter?", June 23, 2006 in Washington, DC. From her posture, it’s clear she hadn’t anticipated, nor had any reason to anticipate, being kissed on the mouth by the moderator of the panel.

Rajskub is documented saying the following about the incident:

“He said hello to everyone and kissed me full on the lips. I was like, ‘Oh, that was odd.’ Then the picture was on the Internet and people thought I was going out with him. He’s brilliant and hilarious, but I wouldn’t say I wanted to get it on with him!”

Rajskub actually included a bit about the Rush kiss in a stand-up special. She described the incident as “weird” and “odd.” She also spoke of the incident on a podcast where she called Rush “savvy” for knowing cameras would be present to capture the uninvited kiss. Again, very much like Donald Trump – who has frequently spread sexual rumors about himself and famous women for publicity.

Perhaps this kiss explains why Rush has such a stance on consent?

Maybe.
