Is it any surprise that the craziest politicians are Republicans? GQ doesn’t think so.
Some of the familiar names on the list are Senator Ted Cruz, from Texas, who has so many screws loose, even John Mccain called him a “wacko bird,” and Rep. Michael Grimm from New York who threatened to throw a reporter off a balcony.
Without ranking them in order of craziness, GQ came up with a list of the 20 craziest politicians of 2014, citing why they were named to the list. They were very well aware of the fact that only three Democrats (yes – three) were mentioned, which is why they included the following disclaimer at the end of their article.
Yes, this list is Republican-heavy, and while that may seem like standard liberal-media bias, the reality is that Democrats just aren’t keeping pace right now in the crazy department.
To put it plainly, GQ just wan’t able to find any Democrats acting crazier than Republicans to make the top 20.
Fox News wasn’t hearing any of this, however. In an attempt to be “fair and balanced” they thought they would help GQ out and give some “suggestions” on who they think should have made the cut. Of all people, they invited Adriana Cohen on their show to help sort out the “liberal bias” and “obvious propaganda they were spewing.”
Let’s examine, shall we?
It should be mentioned, that Adriana Cohen is a radio host and columnist for the Boston Herald, but used to work on Senator Scott Brown’s Finance Committee. Here is an excerpt from Scott Brown straight from Adriana Cohen’s site:
Adriana is a real go-getter. She was a valuable member of my Finance Committee. She fund-raised, orchestrated events, did PR and more. I appreciate her hard work, generosity and all that she contributed to support my race for U.S. Senate.
So, with this said – Adriana thinks Elizabeth Warren should be on the list. What’s wrong with this picture? Oh, nothing other than the fact that Senator Warren beat Scott Brown in his re-election bid in 2012.
Fox then goes on to say that Hillary Clinton was left off the list, because she said “we should empathize with our enemies.”
The full quote is here:
For someone who has been in all the headlines she should have been on GQ’s list. She says we should empathize with our enemies. Our enemies are committing genocides and raping girls and selling them off as barbarians, and she wants us to do that?
But, Fox wasn’t in complete disagreement with the selections. Of the three democrats GQ did list, Rep. Hank Johnson from Georgia, Rep. Shiela Jackson Lee from Texas, and Vice President Biden, Fox admitted that putting Joe on the list wasn’t such a bad idea. He does after all ” bring a lot of entertainment by just being Joe.”
