What happens when five black teenagers attack white females? Republicans lose their bowels all over the internet.
According to Philly.com, Najee Bilaal, 16, Zaria Estes, 15, and Kanesha Gainey, 15, attacked several Temple University students. One woman was beat with a brick. Two others were punched in the face and hit.
Three of the women were arrested and charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy, possession of an instrument of crime, terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. The other two are minors as young as 14.
Najee Bilaal will be tried as an adult. Estes and Bilaal are being held on $100,000 bail. Gainey’s bail is set at $75,000.
According to Capt. Frank Banford, the surveillance video was instrumental in the arrests.
“They saw themselves on video,” Banford says. “Some actually walked into the Ninth District. Some we were notified by their schools, who recognized them.”
Republican’s cry reverse racism
The Republican narrative has turned into one of reverse racism, due to the media’s ignoring of the crime. Republican’s love to play the “what about” game.
From the Conservative Tribune:
The race baiters in the media are silent on this story because it doesn’t fit their agenda of fostering racial division in America. The media brings up the subject of race as often as they can, but only when it can be used to advance their narrative. This is the sadder because black on black crime does immensely more damage to black culture than white on black crime.
It is a tactic known as divide and conquer, and it is a strategy empires have used all throughout history. This same tactic is being used today, and Al Sharpton and the Democrats use cases like Ferguson and others to “fundraise” and oil their get-out-the-vote machine.
The real reason the media is silent
While the story is an awful one, there are several reasons the national media has not given airtime to this story.
First and foremost, it is a local story.
Second, and perhaps most importantly, those who committed this crime were arrested and brought to justice. Unlike what happened in the case of George Zimmerman, which took 46 days for an arrested to be made, and Officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed teenager Michael Brown. In Wilson’s case, it has been more than a month and charges have yet to be pressed.
The knockout game
For anybody who turned on the news just a few months ago, the topic du jour was the knockout game.
The knockout game was the Ebola of today. Anywhere you turned, you were in danger of coming face to face with a group of marauding black teens ready to knock your lights out.
In reality, it was very few people in even less cities where the “game” was occurring.
The difference between Republicans and Democrats
The biggest difference between Republicans and Democrats when it comes to incidents such as this is Democrats will not turn the criminals into folk heroes. Republicans, on the other hand, try to turn the criminal into a hero.
In the case of George Zimmerman, Republicans and guns-rights activists were quick to set up fundraisers to support him and his lawyer’s fees.
With Officer Darren Wilson, they sold wristbands and t-shirts that stated “I Am Darren Wilson.” Fundraisers were also set up to help with his lawyer’s fees.
Democrats are not looking to neither turn anybody into a hero, nor are they looking for a witch-hunt. What Democrats look for is justice.
The fact is, Najee Bilaal, Zaria Estes, and Kanesha Gainey, were arrested and charged. The rest is up to the judicial system.
