Phil Robertson’s Bizarre, Gruesome View Of Atheism Includes Rape, Castration And Murder (AUDIO)

This probably wouldn’t be as disturbing as it is if Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson didn’t represent a significant portion of Americans in the form of right-wing Christian extremists.

In a recent speech at a Vero Beach prayer breakfast, Robertson threw any semblance of reason to the wind as he hypothesized about how an atheist might react to home invaders:

I’ll make a bet with you. Two guys break into an atheist’s home. He has a little atheist wife and two little atheist daughters. Two guys break into his home and tie him up in a chair and gag him. And then they take his two daughters in front of him and rape both of them and then shoot them and they take his wife and then decapitate her head off in front of him. And then they can look at him and say, ‘Isn’t it great that I don’t have to worry about being judged? Isn’t it great that there’s nothing wrong with this? There’s no right or wrong, now is it dude?’

Just…What? As if that bit of nonsensical vitriol weren’t enough, Robertson went on to say:

Then you take a sharp knife and take his manhood and hold it in front of him and say, ‘Wouldn’t it be something if this [sic] was something wrong with this? But you’re the one who says there is no God, there’s no right, there’s no wrong, so we’re just having fun. We’re sick in the head, have a nice day.’

If it happened to them, they probably would say, ‘something about this just ain’t right.’

Phil Robertson is officially a bonafide whack job.

    Robertson is a nut job.

This misanthropic miscreant thinks the only thing wrong with rape, mutilation and murder is that they are forbidden by his imaginary friend in the sky. And he claims atheists have a morality problem?! He should read his own scripture. Rape, murder and mutilation are all specifically approved in the Bible. Why do people listen to these ignoranuses (ignorant + a**hole)?

    • Robert

PLEASE, be SPECIFIC when you reference your view of the Bible’s “specifically approved” NONSENSE. If you find you are having trouble, it’s because you CAN’T. IF you think you can… reference them, and we’ll talk to clear things up for you (and anyone else caring to follow along).

Google “rape in the bible” and the list of websites with verses will come up. Actually, take a look at evilbible(dot)com. It addresses all the ludicrous ramblings found in the bible. Research. Open your mind. Seek knowledge. Robertson is spouting information that is not correct and compounding it with horrifying and shocking examples. This kind of manipulative presentation might work on a few, but for those who know how to use their brain, it will be appalling and disgustingly unbelievable. It is inappropriate and wrong on so many levels.

        • Trollin4science

Those aren’t ramblings you idiot. They are examples to illustrate what takes place in this world and the bible’s conclusions are what you take from it. People are just plain stupid.

          • Peoplejustdon’tgetit

Oh my…why would anyone go to writings that are over 2,000 years old to “illustrate what takes place in this world?” I honestly ask you, in all honesty with yourself and with me, does that make sense to you? And if it does, can you explain why that makes sense to you?

And I’m not an “idiot”. It’s rude to call someone names, in case you forgot what most of us learned in kindergarten.

          • Trollin4science

Apologies for that. I actually am an agnostic but the bible is about morality and uses examples to point out those morals. It’s what built the western world in the first place and gave birth to freedom.

          • Peoplejustdon’tgetit

Thank-you for your apology. Morals can come from different sources, not just a religious book. For example, parents teach their children right from wrong. “My problem with atheists is that they are lazy or don’t care.” Wow. That’s a huge generalization and it is not true. You cannot assume that ALL atheists are lazy. Based on what? Non-believers are just like anyone else. They work, go to school, have friends, get married, love, raise families…they live to experience the life they have been given, just like everyone else. There is no relationship between ISIS and a non-believer. One is a brutal, religious fanatical group and the other is just a person who doesn’t believe in a god and usually doesn’t hurt people. Everyone is entitled to believe whatever they like, as long as it doesn’t hurt another person. Atheists do not form groups to hurt people.

    • Trollin4science

Why do people listen to people like you?

  • Adam

they are cute when they try to act like civilized beings, aren’t they ?

  • Eddie Higgins

People like Phil are why we can’t have anything nice !

  • pixeloid

These are the kinds of fantasies in the heads of fundies. This is what they would do if not for fear of divine punishment. These people are delusional, ignorant, fanatical, sadistic, and extremely dangerous.

  • Ed Davis

I guess it would be a bit too much to ask “Ducktor Phil” to disentangle the concepts of right versus wrong and God from one another. Murder, rape and mutilation are wrong under “Man’s law” as well as under the law of God. The good “Ducktor” does not have a monopoly on God nor on right & wrong.

He could use a brain transplant, and a bath .

I am shocked and appalled by what I just read. I am an atheist and I simply don’t believe god exists, never have and never will. The fact that this man thinks that we atheists live with out consequence is disturbing. His scenario was disturbing not only for the horrific description but for the fact that he implies that if it were not for god he might be very capable of committing such terrible acts. I don’t steal, rape and murder for the simple fact that it is wrong and just the thought of hurting another living thing breaks my heart. I don’t need god to scare me in to being good. I just am.

      That’s a complete lie.

I actually agree with him. This country has lost it’s way that’s for sure.

It’s only “Bizarre and gruesome” because sensationalist news websites and channels label it that. Like this site.
