Christian Website Warns Husband’s Eye Contact May Make Raping Wife Less Pleasurable

It’s no wonder that many find conservative Christians to be out of their minds. Recently, a column on BiblicalGenderRoles.com was fresh off the Christian crazy train! It suggested that husbands should not take into consideration the wife’s feelings when it comes to intercourse.

A man who goes by Larry Solomon advises couples on how to live by the Bible’s “gender roles”. In one of the columns, he advised men to avoid looking at their wife’s face when she engages “begrudgingly”. Could that be to avoid feeling guilty? Nope.

I know you love your wife, most men love their wives. But sin is ugly. Your beautiful bride’s face becomes ugly during this sinful time that she is grudgingly giving you sex as she grimaces wanting you to ‘just hurry up and get it over with’.

I didn’t realize a wife’s duty was to make her rape pleasurable for her husband- how inconsiderate.

Solomon goes on to say that men “should not tolerate refusal” because women are to submit to their husbands.

God made woman as a suitable helper for man in this age. After this age the woman’s role as a helper to man, and marriage itself will no longer exist

He points out the bible made woman to help man, but I don’t see where it says woman was made to help man get off. I must have missed that one in Sunday school.

He tells husbands to “focus their eyes on her body, not her face”  because while they want to connect both physically and emotionally, the wife is at fault for emotionally disconnecting – leaving him to only focus on the physical.

This misogynistic bible thumper goes on to imply that wives refusing intercourse or doing it while not in the mood may lead to the husband giving in to temptation. Because it’s so much easier to guilt your wife into sex than to unload those desires into a kleenex.

You also need to realize that whether your wife knows it or not she needs to have sex too. If you don’t have sex with your wife at regular intervals, even sometimes when she is not in the mood but consents anyway, you will open yourself to temptation.

Give me a break! This “expert” is basically shaming the wives into sex.  They then become victims of rape-by their husbands. Which seems like a total betrayal of vows. These brutal sexual assaults are  now justified by this Christian columnist because he has  brainwashed them into believing  its what God wants. Jesus! Fundamentalist Christians have been cherry picking their verses and  perverting their meanings  in order to feel righteous while abusing women for centuries. It’s inexcusable!
