Among Trump’s numerous recent Twitter meltdowns was the absurd statement that his supporters are more well behaved then liberal voters.
If my many supporters acted and threatened people like those who lost the election are doing, they would be scorned & called terrible names!

Like many of Trump’s lies, this one wasn’t backed up with any evidence. And like most of Trump’s lies, it’s obvious he was projecting. He knows his supporters can be vicious, racist, and awful – so he pretends Democrats are the real problem.
As proof, look no further than Carl Paladino, a rabid Trump surrogate who recently went on a racist rant that gives the KKK a run for its money.
Paladino was asked what he “wished for 2017” – a cutesy puff piece meant to elicit answers like “world peace,” “prosperity,” or “good health,” instead the Buffalo businessman-turned-politician made it about wishing death to Obama.
“Obama catches mad cow disease after being caught having relations with a Herford [sic],” he wrote them. “He dies before his trial and is buried in a cow pasture next to Valerie Jarret [sic], who died weeks prior, after being convicted of sedition and treason, when a Jihady [sic] cell mate mistook her for being a nice person and decapitated her.”
Aside from having clear pathological issues, Paladino is barely literate.
He went on to prove he’s not just anti-Obama for his policies, but a plain old-fashioned racist.
“Michelle Obama. I’d like her to return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortably in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla.”
Sadly, this isn’t even the first time this year Paladino has gotten in trouble for advocating for the violent death of someone who stood in the way of Trump. In July, Paladino was embroiled in scandal when he threatened to “hang” a Republican delegate who didn’t support Trump.
“You should be hung for treason Stefani. There will not be a Republican Party if you attempt to replace Trump. I’ll be in your face [at the RNC] in Cleveland.”
He has never apologized.
As an embarrassment to the entire state of New York, Paladino earned himself the rare honor of having the state’s governor single him out for condemnation in a letter published shortly after Paladino’s racist comments set off a firestorm.
“Paladino has a long history of racist and incendiary comments. While most New Yorkers know Mr. Paladino is not to be taken seriously, as his erratic behavior defies any rational analysis and he has no credibility, his words are still jarring.”
Meanwhile, Trump has not said a single word in condemnation of his own supporter. It appears Trump can criticize SNL and the cast of Hamilton, but when it comes to standing up against his own racist surrogates he is as cowardly as people say he is.
