Watch Ted Cruz GO OFF On ‘Sniveling Coward’ Donald Trump: ‘Leave Heidi The Hell Alone’ (VIDEO)

Ted Cruz and Donald Trump have been playing “Wife Wars” for a couple of days now, and Cruz has finally reached his breaking point with Trump, telling him to leave his wife “the hell alone.”

It’s not easy to tick me off,” said Cruz. “I don’t get angry often. But you mess with my wife, you mess with my kids, that’ll do it every time.”

“Donald, you’re a sniveling coward and leave Heidi the hell alone,” Cruz continued, angrily waving his finger at the cameras during a campaign stop in Wisconsin.

“Real men don’t try to bully women,” the Texas senator went on. “That’s not an action of strength. That’s an action of weakness. It’s an action of fear. It’s an action of a small and petty man who is intimidated by strong women.

Cruz said that the only reason Trump started attacking his wife is because the GOP frontrunner has recently lost several primaries to him.

Donald didn’t like that so you’re right, he began lashing out at my wife, attacking Heidi directly. Let me be absolutely clear, our spouses and our children are off bounds. It is not acceptable for a big loud New York bully to attack my wife. It is not acceptable for him to make insults, to send nasty tweets late at night. I don’t know what he does late at night but he tends to do these about 11:30 at night. I assume when his fear is at the highest point.

Trump’s actions have been despicable, but Cruz seems to forget that it was a super PAC supporting him that originally brought spouses into the political picture when they put out an ad featuring pictures Melania Trump from a risque GQ shoot. The anti-Trump Super PAC, is not affiliated with the Cruz campaign, but he has not denounced the ad that urged voters to vote for him instead of The Donald.

Angered by the ad, Trump sent out a tweet, threatening to “spill the beans” on Cruz’s wife. The Republican frontrunner then retweeted a meme from one of his fans that featured professional modeling photo of Melania next to a less than flattering picture of Heidi, which was captioned “a picture is worth a thousand words.”

Condemnation for Trump’s tweets have been coming in a steady stream from all angles. With CNN’s Kate Bolduan slamming him for his retweet and pointing out that the meme was degrading to not just Heidi, but Melania as well, because she is more than just a pretty face. Megyn Kelly only had one word for trump: “Seriously?”
