WATCH: Rep. Peter King Slams Ted Cruz’s Presidential Bid; ‘I’ll Jump Off A Bridge If He’s The GOP Nominee’ (VIDEO)

In an interview with CNN host Wolf Blitzer, GOP Rep. Peter King completely bashes Texas Republican Ted Cruz saying that the “carnival barker” is not qualified to serve as President.

On Monday, Cruz became the first candidate to announce his bid for the 2016 Presidential election. Shortly thereafter, King did not hesitate to call him out on his ridiculous antics. “We have very, very complex issues facing the country today, and he goes out of his way to oversimplify,” King tells CNN. “Ted Cruz may be an intelligent person, but he doesn’t carry out an intelligent debate. He oversimplifies, he exaggerates … he doesn’t provide leadership and he has no real experience.”

The New York Republican then refers to Cruz as, “a guy with a big mouth and no results.”

When asked if he would support Cruz if he were the next GOP nominee, King replies with, “I just hope that day never comes. I’ll jump off that bridge when we come to it.

King, who is considering his own presidential candidacy, also ridicules another rookie Senator’s credentials-Kentucky’s Rand Paul (who is likely to join the 2016 race). King mentions that Paul is a “nice guy,” but he doesn’t support his “isolationist” views.

The New York Rep. certainly doesn’t hide his frustration towards his fellow freshman Senators.

“We have a lot of talent out there,” he said. “I just don’t see Ted Cruz and Rand Paul being part of that talent pool.”

Peter King is one of the lowest pieces of pond scum. He is one of the stupid republicans who would eat his own rather than fight the liberals and Obama. I do believe he thinks the new ones are going to screw up his good old boys club. McCain is another who believes this too. They think they can lie and lie and get away with it. Guess what? Sadly, they are right because they keep getting elected because of apathy on the part of the electorate who cannot put 2 and 2 together and figure out this Washington game. Time for the old rinos to go and in with the new bloods who aren’t afraid of Obama or the liberal media.
