The President’s hilarious twenty minutes of monologue at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner on Saturday night had a slew of high points. As a matter of fact, the entire thing was a high point.
One particular minute and twenty seconds, bound to go down in YouTube history as an Obama fan favorite, has the President poking fun at the Secret Service and Senator John McCain when he segues into his relationship with Vice President Joe Biden.
What ensues is nothing short of comedy gold. It also shines a light on what Governor Mike Pence of Indiana mistakenly thinks is a forgotten issue.
Watching President Obama deliver lines like these puts a smile on the face of Democrats everywhere. The man is genuine and warm, funny and confident. If only a third term were possible.
