Thursday night, President Obama decided to stop by the Tonight Show and “slow jam” the news with Jimmy Fallon, for the last time as Commander-in-Chief.
Some of you may remember that time in 2012, when the “POTUS with the Mostess” did a Slow Jam with Jimmy at the University of North Carolina, in order to urge Congress to stop interest rate increases on Stafford student loans.
This time, Obama’s appearance was a nostalgic piece of musical genius where they jammed about his achievements as president and even managed to take a few shots at Congress and “Orange is NOT the new Black” Donald Trump.
Obama then summed up the steps he’s taken over his term:
In short: Climate change is real, health care is affordable and love is love.
“Commander in Preach!” said Fallon, “you’ve got to listen to my man Bareezus, he’s accomplished a lot in eight years.”
