Campbell’s Soup has released a new ad featuring a very normal, and apparently loving, family that just happens to have 2 dads. You already know where this is going, don’t you? Queue the homophobic hate group One Million Moms:
As usual, bigoted Republicans wasted no time in declaring this the end of the world as we know it, and the worst thing to ever harm our children. The comments on OMM’s Facebook page are as you would expect:
- The commercial makes me sick, and I certainly have no appetite for what they are selling. They seriously think this is “real, real life”?! God says it is an abomination.
- Can’t normalize perversion. Good try Campbell’s. You lost a customer.
- Poor little boy. How confused he must be.
- Such a sad social experiment to inflict on children. We know normality and stability is key to a child’s development. This is child abuse.

Campbell’s posted the ad on their YouTube channel. It has received a positive response from the public that has been trying show support for the growing diversity in American society and culture. One insightful person had probably the best comment with his very short, but very accurate statement:
Let me drop that mic for you Rob. You just won the internet with that one.
