On Friday’s edition of Real Time, Bill Maher laid the smackdown on Republicans who continue to wrongfully rejoice in the decisions made under the
George W. Bush Dick Cheney administration.
More than 10 years before President Obama actually ended the war in Iraq, Dubyah landed on an aircraft carrier and stood in front of giant “Mission Accomplished” signs to declare how right he was about being wrong. That was on May 1st, 2003. On May 1st, 2011, President Obama ordered the ambush and killing of Osama Bin Laden, prompting Maher to declare May 1st “National Do This Not That Day.”
Maher goes on in Romper Room “Do Bee versus Don’t Bee” style, destroying the many failures of Bush while highlighting the opposite effect Obama policies have had on the same issues.
The result is a truly brilliant five minutes of video that reminds us why Bill Maher is regarded by many as a political realist.
