I think I finally figured out who Dr. Carson is: He’s like your mother in that he says really awful things, but says them in a non-threatening voice. He may have been a brain surgeon, but he knows you really, REALLY don’t need a brain to vote in the Republican Presidential Primary. Dr. Carson also knows that if he wishes to stay afloat with Donald Trump in the polls (he’s polling second behind Trump), he must tap into new levels of stupid.
Digging deep down in the reserves of ignorant and thoughtless, Dr. Ben Carson naturally appeared on Fox & Friends. If you’re looking for that right combination of smug and stupid, the Foxbots and mannequins at Fox & Friends is your ticket. After offering every empty and pointless conservative talking point to avoid an actual conversation on guns (it’s mental health..blah…second amendment…blah blah….Obama), Carson seemed to make an exquisite gaffe. Regarding meeting with the families of the victims of the horrible shootings in Roseburg, Oregon, Carson said the following:
“Probably not,” Carson replied. “I mean, I would probably have so many things on my agenda that I would go to the next one.”
Whether intentional or not, the brain surgeon basically just said that he’s looking forward to the next shooting. I guess he doesn’t get the ‘gravity’ of the situation.
