Trump’s Spokeswoman Just Blamed Obama For Captain Khan’s Death. Seriously. (VIDEO)

It looks like conservatives will well and truly blame anything they can on Obama. Including the death of U.S. Army Captain Humayun Khan.

Of course, what can we expect out of Katrina Pierson, the woman who is so full of self-loathing that she once justified calling Obama a “half-breed” by calling herself one, too?

“Rules of Engagement”

The latest drama surrounding Trump is his choice to pick a fight with the family of the late U.S. Army Captain Humayun Khan, who sacrificed himself to save his squad from a car bomb in Iraq in 2004.

Humayun’s father, Khizr, spoke to the DNC about his son and condemned Trump for his anti-Muslim rhetoric. And let’s be clear here — the Muscovian Candidate deserved every bit of it.

But rather than continue playing footsies with Vlad Putin — the smart thing — Trump came out swinging against Humayun’s father and insinuated that his mother hadn’t been allowed to speak because the family was Muslim.

Trump also insisted on making it more about Khan’s faith rather than, you know, Khan himself. And in that regard, he had company: ISIS agrees rather soundly with Trump, and would prefer we talk about Khan’s religion.

The Teflon Don’s been taking heat for it ever since, forcing him to double down. And today, the spokeswoman for the campaign, Katrina Pierson, just tripled down on it, blaming, of all people, President Obama for Khan’s death.

Katrina began by noting that Donald Trump never voted for the Iraq War, and then went on to add this little nugget:

It was under Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton that changed the rules of engagements that probably cost his life. So I don’t understand why it’s so hard to understand why Donald Trump was so confused. About why he was being held responsible for something he had nothing to do with while Hillary Clinton had everything to do with it.

Speaking of confused . . .

Khan died in 2004 — you know, the year that Bush won his second term. Obama was still a senator. As was Clinton. Neither had any influence on the rules of engagement under President Bush.

On the other hand, people are holding Trump accountable for his disgracefulwords, which have only served to smear Khan’s name and blacken the sacrifice that Khan made.

I mean, for God’s sake, ISIS agrees with Trump. And Americans are still going to vote for him. And they will feel no shame for doing so. None.

That’s such an utterly and disgustingly transparent attempt to shift the blame that it makes me physically ill. There’s nothing that even resembles logic here. It’s complete and utter nonsense from an empty-headed hack who’s as incapable of decency as she is rational thought and honesty.

Sort of like the entirety of Trump’s campaign, really.
