It’s hard to imagine that Donald Trump even bothers to think before he speaks. Then again, why should he? It seems the more asinine his comments are the more his vacuous supporters shriek for the fascism to commence. The latest verbal vomit that Trump is subjecting us to, according to Breitbart, is seemingly insane. A big, beautiful, safe-zone for Syrian refugees that will be built IN Syria.
What I like is build a safe zone in Syria. Build a big, beautiful safe zone, and you have whatever it is so people can live, and they’ll be happier. So you keep ’em in Syria. You build a tremendous safe zone, it’ll cost you tremendously much less, much less, and they’ll be there and the weather’s the same. And the weather is the same and then when this horrible situation that is so horrible run. We don’t know what we are doing. When it’s all over they move back and they go back into their cities, and they rebuild their cities. And they start out and they start over again.
The utterly mindblowing fact that people will hear this and think it’s actually a feasible plan is a bracing shock to thinking Americans, yet this pompous narcissist has continuously led the Republican ClownCar in the polls despite failing to actually say anything of substance. So don’t be surprised when your crazy uncle serves up a heaping helping of “Trumpage” with the turkey this Thanksgiving to rant about the “Muslim” president importing Muslims and deporting Christians when Trump would keep them in their own country.
That Tump can imagine that we could secure said safe zone, in the midst of a war-torn country this is filled with ISIL strongholds, WITHOUT major military and civilian casualties, is preposterous. There are so many reasons as to why these plans wouldn’t work- that any small areas of feasibility will simply pale and shrink into obscurity in comparison to the mountain of reasons it couldn’t, shouldn’t, and just plain won’t ever be acted upon.
Leave it to the walking hairpiece to come up with something this shockingly stupid and still call it “tremendous, beautiful, and big.”
Trump clearly hasn’t seen what Syria looks like right now, because if he had then he would know there is no possible way to carry out his plan without a lot of casualties — including dead Americans.
