In Donald Trump’s delusional world, the media is rigging this presidential election, and Saturday Night Live, the show he agreed to host nearly a year ago, is now part of that corrupt media. Now, they are “boring” and “unfunny.”
They made fun of him last night, like they have done with candidates in every presidential election since the show began in 1975. They even have an election year special which includes clips and sketches from previous elections.
But no, SNL’s show last night was a “hit job” according to Trump. This morning, he tweeted about the performance saying:
Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me.Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!

Over the last few days, Trump has made claims that the media is against him because they published stories from women who say they were sexually assaulted by the Republican presidential nominee. The SNL cold open debate sketch touched on those accusations.
“Martha, she is trying to silence these women but they need to be respected. They need their voices heard,” Trump (Alec Baldwin) tells Martha Raddatz (Cecily Strong).
“What about all the women accusing you of sexual assault?” Strong’s character asks.
“They need to shut the hell up,” Baldwin Trump answers.
Over the next few days I predict Trump will tell us everyone, including the Pope, is rigging this election against him.
