S.C. Lawmaker Announces Resolution To Ban Trump From The Republican-Controlled State


Well, it seems the UK are not the only ones who don’t want Donald Trump around anymore. South Carolina has now had enough of “Trump the Insult Candidate.” This coming on the heels of Trump’s despicable behavior last week in Rock Hill, where the irreverent Republican front-runner had Rose Hamid removed from his campaign rally for no other reason than being Muslim.

On Saturday, Rep. John King said he would be introducing a resolution declaring that Donald Trump was “not welcomed” in the Palmetto State, and did not mince words about the reasons why Trump is no longer welcomed in his state. The resolution which states:

Donald Trump is a race-baiting, xenophobic bigot and is not welcome in the state of South Carolina,

He pulls no punches about how sick and tired many South Carolinians have become with Trump’s hateful and fear mongering antics.

King, who expects bi-partisan support for his resolution, released a statement Saturday saying:

Democrats and Republicans don’t agree on much in South Carolina, but most of us agree that Donald Trump is an embarrassment to our country’s political process and stands contrary to the beliefs of our Founding Fathers and the values of the United States Constitution,

It seems the more Donald Trump opens his mouth, the more Americans begin to understand what a dangerous, hateful and divisive person he truly is and what a disaster he would be as president. Let’s hope the rest of America sees through this reality TV huckster’s weak facade before it’s too late.
