Trump Adviser Roger Stone Confirms He’s Coordinating With Wikileaks To Destroy Hillary (VIDEO)

I cannot stress enough how glad I am that Trump and several of his top surrogates cannot seem to keep their mouths shut. Today’s disastrous foot-in-mouth comes from Roger Stone, a close (and creepy) ally of Donald Trump that has previously promised riots in the streets if Trump is not elected and that the election will almost certainly be rigged. This time, in his eagerness to brag, he let it slip that he has been coordinating with Julian Assange to attack the Clinton campaign.

Via Media Matters:

QUESTIONER: With regard to the October surprise, what would be your forecast on that given what Julian Assange has intimated he’s going to do?

ROGER STONE: Well, it could be any number of things. I actually have communicated with Assange. I believe the next tranche of his documents pertain to the Clinton Foundation but there’s no telling what the October surprise may be.

Assange, of course, is not an American citizen and has uncomfortably close ties to Russia. In addition to having a show on their state-run propaganda channel RT, there’s also the little matter of the DNC emails stolen by a Russian intelligence agency and released by Assange with the explicit intent of throwing the election to Trump.

There are those who insist that the Democrats are “redbaiting” to distract from the “scandals” in the emails (all of which are total bullshit) but before the emails were even released, the FBI was pretty sure the original hack originated in Russia and have only grown more certain since. And it’s not redbaiting when Trump gets up on a stage, thanks Russia for the help and asks that they steal more documents to help his campaign.

It’s not clear that what Roger Stone confessed to amounts to an actual crime but the fact that he’s coordinating with Assange should trouble even the most ardent Trump supporter. Normalizing election tampering by other countries and actively encouraging it by concluding with them is a very dangerous precedent to set.
