In the wake of Donald blatantly lying about his history of sexual abuse and molestation during the debate last Sunday, a number of women have stepped forward to accuse him of abusing them. In typical Trump fashion, Spray-Tan Hitler responded to those accusations on Friday by basically saying that he wouldn’t assault women he didn’t find attractive.
I mean, sure. When you’ve dug a hole so deep for yourself you can’t climb out, the only way forward is down, right? Trump seems to think so, at any rate.
“Never would have happened”
During a rally in Greensboro, North Carolina, Donald Trump told the audience that any claims he sexually abused women were totally made up, specifically singling out Jessica Leeds, aged 74, who claimed in a New York Times story published on Tuesday that Trump sexually assaulted her in the 1980s:
“When you looked at that horrible woman last night, you said ‘I don’t think so!’ Whoever she is, wherever she comes from, the stories are total fiction. They are 100 percent made up, they never happened, they never would have happened.”
Trump would then go onto say that it was these accusations are the only way people figured they could stop him:
“The only way they figured they can slow it down is to come up with people that are willing to say ‘Oh! I was with Donald Trump in 1980. I was sitting with him on an airplane, and he went after me on the plane!’”
Can you smell the victim politics? Because I can smell the victim politics.
Trump, of course, wasn’t content to leave it there, oh no — he went further, regurgitating a line used by every frat boy accused of sexual assaul:
“Yeah, I’m going to go after— Believe me, she would not be my first choice, that, I can tell you. Man, you don’t know— That would not be my first choice.”
And if you can believe it, this occurred in the same rally where Trump admitted to checking out Hillary Clinton and saying he “wasn’t impressed.”
Trump has said repeatedly that he respects women, but every time he gets the chance to actually put those words into actions, he proves the exact opposite.
I’m aware that Trump is falling in the polls, but liberals cannot afford to let this man win. We have the advantage, and we need to press it. You don’t give your opponent a chance to get a second wind; not when your opponent is everything that’s wrong with society, distilled and squeezed into a human-shaped sausage.
