Trump Accuses Republican Senators Of ‘Looking To Start WWIII’ After They Criticize Muslim Ban

Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham issued a joint statement criticizing Donald Trump’s Muslim Ban. So of course, the thin-skinned baby threw a temper tantrum on Twitter and actually accused the senators of “looking to start WWIII.”

McCain and Graham issued their statement on Sunday morning which said that his bigoted executive order “sends a signal, intended or not, that America does not want Muslims coming into our country. That is why we fear this executive order may do more to help terrorist recruitment than improve our security.”

Naturally, Trump did not take the criticism well and totally freaked out — on Twitter.

Trump enacted his Muslim Ban on Friday by signing an executive order that places a 90-day ban on citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries entering the United States. Countries on Trump’s banned list include Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Somalia, Lybia, Syria and Yemen.

Chaos reigned over the weekend in the wake of Trump’s order. At airports across the country, passengers were detained and deported. Widespread protests erupted. The American Civil Liberties Union stepped in on Saturday and filed suit against Trump and his unconstitutional law. A federal judge issued a temporary stay on Trump’s order, but the fight is long from over.

Somehow, Trump and his cronies are still defending his unlawful order. They insist that this is anything except what it is: a Muslim Ban. Instead, they continue to argue that this is just “extreme vetting” to keep terrorists out of the U.S. But it is more than obvious what this is really about. It has nothing at all to do with security and everything to do with bigotry.
