Until now, Donald Trump has always referred to the Russia investigation as a ‘hoax’ but sh*t got real when dozens of indictments were handed down on Friday by special counsel Robert Mueller. 13 Russians and 3 groups were among those indicted. Previously, Trump national security advisor Michael Flynn pleaded guilty and is cooperating with Mueller, former foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos (guilty, and also cooperating), and former campaign aide Rick Gates (who is negotiating a plea deal), and former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort was indicted. That’s quite a list, and Mueller’s team of investigators has not yet finished its probe into whether members of the Trump campaign conspired with Russia to disrupt and influence the 2016 presidential election. According to a source, the investigation will likely take months. Still, Trump tweeted, “No collusion!”
“Russia started their anti-US campaign in 2014, long before I announced that I would run for President,” President Stable Genius tweeted. “The results of the election were not impacted. The Trump campaign did nothing wrong – no collusion!”

Trump statement says “there was NO COLLUSION.”
“It’s time we stop the outlandish partisan attacks, wild and false allegations, and far-fetched theories, which only serve to further the agendas of bad actors, like Russia…” pic.twitter.com/cl4ItLzZo5

Today’s indictment indicates that the Russians wanted you to win the election. We don’t know yet whether their help mattered or whether your campaign assisted them, but that investigation is ongoing.

Hey Donnie, how about those sanctions? Hmmm………

When Trump was briefed today, he obviously wasn’t paying attention. The Russians started with their operation in 2014, but by 2016 they threw their support behind the former reality show star’s campaign to help him get elected. On top of that, the Russians communicated with ‘unwitting’ people tied to the former reality show star’s campaign. And then, Trump failed to apply sanctions to Russia. Keep tweeting, Mr. Trump. Mueller is watching.
