The Top Ten Most Vile Conservative Tweets of 2014

Well folks, 2014 is quickly coming to an end and a new year is all but upon us. 2015 beckons, and with it, another year just brimming with the potential for conservative buffoonery. The right wing will surely find new and innovative ways to embarrass itself in the new year, new ways to spew asinine and incendiary commentary across an array of themes ranging from race to climate science.

Pat Robertson will come up with some new way to blame a human tragedy or natural disaster on gay people. Ted Nugent will make some new, veiled threats of armed violence. Ann Coulter will pioneer some novel technique for verbal repugnance that leaves us all scratching our collective heads and wondering just how any one person can be so vile. And, of course, an undisclosed number of Republican politicians will find new ways to rephrase their timelessly inappropriate rape commentaries.

But before we wade in to a brand new year full of right wing depravity, let’s have a look back at the The Top Ten Most Vile Conservative Tweets of 2014.

10) Ann Coulter thinks WHITE PEOPLE are being oppressed:

Yes, you read that right. In the wake of the grand jury’s failure to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed Michael Brown, Coulter took to Twitter to claim that whites were somehow being deprived of free speech.

9) Randy Weber, heir to Ron Paul’s congressional seat, calls Obama a “socialist dictator”:

Weber has a giant tinfoil hat to fill taking over for Dr. Paul. So at this past year’s State of the Union address, he promptly decorated his Twitter account with aluminum. Listen, if Obama is a socialist he’s the worst one in recorded history, considering that his fiscal policies fall somewhere to the right of Richard Nixon. And last I checked, Randy Weber hasn’t been shipped off to the Gulag. So enough with the “dictator” nonsense already.

8) Dana Loesch doesn’t get it; thinks Garner died over a cigarette tax:

Eric Garner died over a cigarette tax. It had nothing to do with poor officer training or questionable judgment in using a banned choke-hold technique on an unarmed suspect.

7) Donald Trump calls for Obama’s resignation over the Ebola “epidemic” that never actually happened:

What would an end of the year list chronicling right wing stupidity be without everyone’s favorite comb-over connoisseur, “The Donald“? Trump took to Twitter to help fuel this year’s rampant Ebola paranoia and, right on cue, used it as an occasion to call for the President’s ouster.

6) Patrick Howley of the Daily Caller tweets vulgar, sexist remarks:

Ever the misogynist, Howley and boss Tucker Carlson both issued public apologies for disparaging remarks made about Buzzfeed’s Rosie Gray. Not only did Howley have to delete his offensive posts, he went as far as to remove his entire Twitter account over the vile incident.

OK, now this is where conservatives got REALLY vile…

5) Sean Hannity comes unglued and floods his Twitter page with pictures of mutilated corpses:

A man does strange things when he’s attempting to justify the institutional torture carried out by the CIA during the Bush administration. For Hannity, that meant logging onto Twitter and posting images of the victims of Islamic extremism. Images seen here are redacted out of respect to the victims and their families- a courtesy Hannity did not see fit to extend.

4) Todd Kincannon, the pro-life former director of the South Carolina GOP, calls for the execution of Ebola patients:

Kincannon has a long history of tweeting the most outrageously vile cyber sewage that the right wing has to offer. Ever the troll, his “solution” for combating the Ebola virus was to execute the patients, going insofar as to claim that the use of napalm should be employed on African villages. They’re just “savages”, according to Kincannon. President Obama included.

3) Pat Dollard interweaves homophobia and antisemitism into one DOOZY of a vile tweet:

The former Breitbart contributor, anti-Muslim warhawk, and regular guest on Fox News’ “Red Eye” pulls no punches when it comes to putting his ignorance proudly on display. I guess touting regressive and Draconian economic policies isn’t enough to win the approval of Mr. Dollard, as shown here by his EXTREMELY vile take on the libertarian movement.

2a) Kincannon strikes again- calls Wendy Davis a “whore” and encourages the public to harass her online:

I told you this guy was a real piece of work. This wasn’t just an instance of a passing, crass remark; this was a dedicated campaign of online harassment. I’ll just let the vile screen caps speak for themselves.

2b) Kincannon revisits his misogynistic tirade against Davis to troll the death of Michael Brown:

To be fair, we probably could have done an entire article running down the Top Ten Most Vile Tweets From Todd Kincannon In 2014. The guy is just that vile. According to Twitter, the account he used to make these remarks has thankfully been disabled, but the internet never forgets. Thanks to PoliticusUSA for preserving his vile commentary.

I don’t understand why Michael Brown’s parents are so upset. They’re pro-choice Democrats and they got a taxpayer-funded abortion.

Michael Brown got the Wendy Davis Special, a 75th trimester abortion. RT @LehmanCg6lehman: @Todd__Kincannon@KenValliere Late term even.

And now, for the most VILE thing tweeted by a conservative in 2014…

1) Charles C. Johnson extorts the alleged UVA rape victim:

Johnson’s claim to the most vile conservative tweet of 2014 is owed entirely to the fact that it’s down right criminal. This isn’t reporting; this isn’t journalism. This isn’t even internet trolling. This is the criminal extortion of an alleged victim of GANG RAPE. Regardless of the inconsistencies that have come to light regarding “Jackie’s” story as told to Rolling Stone, the fact remains that this is potentially the victim of a horrific sexual assault. Congrats, Chuck. In a year chock full of conservative online douchebaggery, you stand alone as the single-most nauseating, vile douchebag of them all.

    • TaxPaying American Voter

      Sums it up nicely.

  • Exsquid

Do we really need to ask ” What’s wrong with America?”.

    • v2787

Nope. We know what’s wrong with America: the eminently provable mental illness called “conservatism.” The real problem is that, for some unknown reason, people keep voting for these mentally ill people and putting them into positions of governmental authority. If the electorate would stop doing that, we’d begin to make some major progress as a society.

      • http://www.yahoo.com/ John Ware

Thank you #@v2787 I keep wondering how these Douche Bag Scum Sucking Ass Clowns get elected in the first place. Like they say, people voting against their own best interests.

        • therain

How did those mid-terms work out for you?

      • therain

        liberals have mental problems

    • therain

  • Mr_Scorpio

If anything is clear, these right wingers are all competing against each other to say the most reprehensible thing, in public, possible. If this is a real contest, I would hazard a guess that the prize they’re all competing for is the right to keep a child sex slave in their basement.

So, if word ever comes out that one of them was caught keeping a child sex slave in their basement, then we’d know exactly which one became the winner.

  • therain

Some of these are 100% spot on. Yes, a small amount of people say dumb things.
