Just days after picking up the endorsement from a pastor in Kansas City who thinks Oprah is the forerunner of the Antichrist, Ted Cruz netted another endorsement — this one from everyone’s favorite hate group, the Family Research Council.
Ted Cruz is not a popular candidate with the Republican establishment now. Several major Republicans are lining up against him, with some of them concerned his potential nomination could result in bad things for the Republican Party.
Cruz remains popular with the religious right, however; according to his own lunatic father, Cruz is an “anointed king” who’s going to bring about the end times transfer of wealth, which Rafael calls the “spoils of war.”
Not to say Trump hasn’t drawn the religious right lunatics, either — because he has — but Fuhrer Trump doesn’t have the endorsement of a guy who thinks Oprah is the forerunner of the Antichrist because she does humanitarian work, and his resume is poorer for it.
Explicitly missing from the list of Cruz’s endorsements, however, are visible hate groups. Trump has the KKK and the Neo-Nazis supporting him, and who does Cruz have?
Some lunatic who thinks Oprah is the forerunner of the Antichrist, that’s who.
Well, no more. While speaking on Fox News, Liar Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council — the hate group that brought you Washington Lobbyist Josh Duggar — announced he was throwing in behind Cruz:
I believe the one who is best positioned, best prepared to lead this nation forward, pulling it out of the tailspin that this president has put us in, I believe is Ted Cruz.
If that’s not a ringing endorsement from the guy who thought Josh Duggar represented his idea of ‘Family Values’ well enough to hire, I’m not sure what is.
